The mug is attractive, just the perfect color blue and it’s well made- the coffee doesn’t spill out of it like it does with so many of my other loose-lipped mugs. It retains the heat for several hours usually, fits holder in my car and the gripper makes for easy handling. The leak-less top system it has makes drinking and spillage easier to control (there’s a small hole at the top, which closes with the push-up part of the lid). Just about perfect, I’d say- meets all of my expectations for toting around my coffee everywhere constantly!

We’ve had these tumblers for about a year and a half now, and they are still our go-to travel mugs. We originally bought them for a winter trip to Finland because we wanted something we could throw in our backpacks and carry with us all day to keep drinks warm in the cold. I found the Contigo cup around 10 years ago just by accident. Back then I wouldn't dreamt of spending that kind of money on any drinking vessel. Especially since so many travel mugs were made of plastic. I didn't know what I was missing and boy was I missing out! I thought of it to be a miracle cup that kept beverages so cold. If my drink doesn't have lots of ice I won't drink it. Before, when using glasses, or the travel mugs, back in the olden days the ice melted quickly and watered down the beverage. I don't know really how many years Contigo has been making these travel mugs but if maybe if heard about them in some type of way, I would've found them sooner. The price of this beautiful magenta cup was a steal. It was 50% off. It's not asking to be knocked over like the larger one. However the cups can take a beating. I drop mine at least a couple times a week on cement and they may get a small dent but they still work. I use it 24 hours a day so it's bound to happen. It's the perfect sippy cup for a klutz like me. Or as my husband calls it, flask. I never have a problem with leaking. The lid is different than the 20 or 24 oz ones. It has a fastener and not one that you use one finger and push a button to be able to drink. This one you have to open manually and the latch is tight. I need to use both hands. One to hold it the other to open it. If you don't seal the latch, the ice melts a lot faster. My thinking is that it being only 16 oz's I can drink it faster. It's tight enough that I'm not worried about leaking even after usual wear. It took me a long time to find one that I liked. And this is it!

I use this daily for my hot tea! This is a heavyweight tumbler that is large. But can we talk about how pretty this blueberry color is?? I am a Contigo fan, and I've been loyal to this brand for over a decade. The lid seal is perfection. I have no problem throwing this cup in my purse, with zero leakage. My tea stays hot easily 9-10 hours. I make this tea at night and drink it in the morning lol. Dishwasher safe!

Although I just received it one of my acquaintances has the same one and she is very satisfied with it as it supersedes the listed expectations. These are my 3rd and 4th contigo travel mugs. The first one I left at a road side stop accidentally. The second one I dropped one too many times, I guess, and it no longer held the heat. But I got many years out of both of those. These mugs work almost too well. If you put very hot liquids in there, you might need to leave the cap off for a bit just to be able to drink it. They definitely hold the heat in for many hours. The shape is perfect to fit in every cup colder. They are absolutely leak proof.

Desde hace tiempo quería un termo en el que mi bebida perdurara caliente por varias horas, los que tengo a las 3 horas mi bebida ya esta fría, a diferencia de la taza de viaje Contigo dura 8 horas caliente por su doble pared. Es genial para estos días de frío. Me encantó porque puedo transportar mi bebida de una forma fácil, cómoda y segura. Y no pesa tanto como imagine.

I only had to buy a new one because I lost my old one that I owned for years. Absolutely can't fault the mug. Keeps things cold/hot for hours and hours. Has never leaked. Easy to clean. Only thing to be mindful of is ensuring the rubber seal is sitting flat if you've taken it out to clean. But that is not an issue at all. I highly highly recommend this mug.
