Definitely worth it:)
The first-grade reader can understand it’s a very simple book. we all know it but we’re not doing it. It’s very helpful to read over and over and over again!!

This is the best book on how to quit sugar I've read
First of all, it only takes about 1 1/2 hours to read this. He uses some illustrations that I wish were done by a better hand but this is minor. His ideas are spot on and he calls you on your excuses to eat processed sugar. He advises a plant-based diet with small amounts of meat. The diet plan allows whole fruits. I've been on it only a few days and already my GI symptoms of bloating, abdominal pain and diarrhea are history. Also, my mind is clear and I have energy. Hoping to lose a few pounds but just the relief from abdominal pain and bloating are worth quitting sugar. I have never had one doctor ask me what I have been eating but clearly to me, it was the constant use of sweets on a daily basis that has been wreaking havoc on my body. Thanks a million for writing this book.

decent advice, but pretty basic
i guess basic makes sense, this isnt rocket science, but as someone with some knowledge of the topic i didnt learn too much. the author is pretty dismissive of things like will power, and claims that by simply knowing how bad and useless sugar is you will just magically quit cold turkey. the reality is it is hard. as he acknowledges - sugar is addictive and available in comical abundance, making quitting harder than he suggests, while also not offering any real strategy i picked up on while reading. eating less sugar is a habit you’ll need to develop and likely involves an emotional component

Quick Read
I read this illustrated book in fifteen or twenty minutes. I will try the concepts in my life though. Just wish there was more to read.

Excellent book it really helped. Easy to read and in one or two sittings only.
This book is great. They get to the heart of the sugar addiction. I don't agree with all of it, but it basically sums up what we already know intuitively. Sugar is not good for us. It's not a treat. It's toxic. Simple as that. I still eat pasta and potatoes, but this book got me off of almost everything else. When I see chocolate or candy now, it does not appeal to me at all. That's the best part. Definitely read it if you want to quit sugar.

Awful Book
How did this book even get published?? The fonts in the book make you feel as if you’re being shouted at.The basic message was just eat ONLY fruits and vegetables with a bit of meat on the side. You’re not supposed to eat rice, pasta, bread etc because it’s all bad sugar. So he’s basically saying that countries and cultures where people eat rice and pasta and bread as staples for years are unhealthy?? Horrible book!

A no BS method that works!
As a physician who’s read every just about every health and fitness book there is, this was a breath of fresh air.I firmly believe that he gets to the core of the issue in a way none of the other long winded, cultish diet books do. If you read this book and understand the perils of eating bad sugar and why you simply do not need it to survive or be happy, you’ll succeed.Read the book! It takes an hour! All the best!Dr Frank

Life Changer!
Good for people who aren't really fans of reading regular books. Great illustrations.

Does the job
It's a bit basic and it's not realistic to go from our western diet (full of processed foods) to only eating whole foods and nothing else. However, the principles make perfect sense, you can read it in one evening so it gives you a nice little reminder/boost when you fall off the wagon a bit. It helped me quit sugar for a month (until I fell off the wagon) with some really poignant tips. I used Allan Carrs book to quit smoking (the crazy easy way) 7 years ago so I'm a big supporter of him anyway and this book didn't disappoint, although it's not as good as his smoking book.

Simple to read - too simple?
This seems to be a children's book. I didn't realise this when I bought it. Some of Allen Carr's 'Easy Way' books are very good - especially the one's HE actually wrote.(he's been dead for some time now). I will try to finish it - in case it works. It's a quick read and even if it doesn't work it may give some useful ideas that help folk avoid type 2 diabetes!

A must read for chocolate lovers
This books changes how we think about sugar and helps us to change habits of a lifetime. Easy to ready and understand. Repetitive in places but that's to make sure information is slowly sinking in. Sugar is addictive and getting to grips that your a sugar addict helps see why we enjoy chocolate, cakes, bread and most things with sugar. I stop and think now and am eating more whole foods. This process can be applied to any additions.
