These fish oil capsules seem to be really good quality, and they seem to be working. My dog's coat is sleeker and he has less dandruff than before I started giving him this product daily. He also seems a little bit less itchy than he was before. The only downside is that, like a lot of fish oil products, these are pretty large capsules- if your dog hates the taste of the oil, he probably won't take these, because there's no avoiding biting these open. Mine doesn't mind the taste at all so it's okay.

My dog loves them

I give these to my husky, and she eats them no problem. She will ask for it if I forget, she loves them! The very first one she was hesitant with, but as soon as she bitit, she was hooked. I think it helps her coat stay shiny an dmay be helping her allergies a little. The capsules don't smell fishy to touch, which is nice. I recommend this brand, I feel they have a high quality product.

We got these to supplement our mini-Schnauzer puppies’ food. Our veterinarian recommended one soft gel each per day. The pups won’t take the pills on their own, so we snip the end of each capsule and squeeze the oil into a small bowl with a bit of canned pumpkin. They absolutely love it. They lick the pumpkin-and-oil mix right off a large spoon, and it’s simple to prep with almost no mess. Hopefully the omega-3s will do what the vet says and support their healthy development—time will tell, but so far it’s been an easy routine and they’re enthusiastic about it.

These are big soft gels. Let me get that to you right outta the gate. They're huge. My little guy would not take them just as a soft gel. He wouldn't take it if I broke it open and poured it on his food, either (they are smelly when you do that, just FYI). But, if I wrap that thing in cheese....game on! So, once I figured that out, we've had smooth sailing on the huge soft gel front. Now, I got these because he has had so much trouble with his skin. I changed his food (Purina ProPlus for Sensitive Skin & Stomachs-Salmon and Rice version) and that helped. These were a game-changer! After two weeks of 1 soft gel a day (he only weighs 20lbs) the biting stopped. The getting up and down in the middle of the night to dig and scratch all over himself stopped. He had chewed at the base of his tail so much he had a scab there from the constant biting. He was flaky (as if he had dandruff) and although I bathed him monthly (to make sure this wasn't because of fleas, and it was not) his coat was dull, and brittle. He is a beautiful smooth-coated chocolate Doxie/Lab mix (don't ask, where there's a will there's a way) and his coat had been getting worse and worse over time. Once the biting and scratching started I knew this was something I had to deal with quickly. The sore on his tail just did me in. Vet wanted to run all kinds of tests and put him on a prescription (starts with an 'A"). I knew this was a food issue. There are treats he cannot have because they make him itch terribly. I just had to find the right combination to ease up his skin problems. This stuff did the trick. He is shiny, gorgeous and moving like he hasn't in awhile (he'll be 8 this fall-2021) and all around happier and more relaxed. I guess if your skin's not crawling with aggravating sensations, you'd feel better and be more relaxed too! So, highly recommend, five stars, bells, whistles and Celebration with Kool & the Gang because this stuff changed my little dude's life. Oh, and the bottle has lasted me nearly 4 months, just ordered my second one, so definitely has paid for itself...your mileage may vary depending on your dog's weight. If I had to give this to my big 65lb mutt, this might be a different story, but she is a lot tougher than her older brother and has no issues whatsoever. Thank you for this product.
