If I use this on the bathroom floor, can I attach a hose to the tap to drain it into the shower? If so, what diameter should the hose pipe be?

The tap drain has a standard 'Hozelok' fitting just like your garden hose. Not sure of the diameter but all garden hoses seem to have the same diameter so they are compatible with standard Hozelok fittings.

Is it possible to fill the bath using the hozelock fitting at the base? Or is it drain only?

Sorry I don't know. I filled it with warm water by using a bucket and only used the tap to drain afterwards.

Are the drain holes pre drilled? As I want to fit a more perminent shower waste in there

Yes the hole is pre drilled with waste tap fitted. It just needs to be unscrewed and put on the outside before use.
