Performed well fishing in Northern Norway
Very sturdy 4 pieces travel fishing rods. Bought MH and Heavy grade. Brought to Northern Norway trip and fish in the fjords from the shore. Able to pull up cod from the rocky bottom and shoreline full of kelps. You can watch the YouTube video Angelo Outdoors for tips in assembly and packing.

Diamond in the Rough
Awesome awesome awesome boat rod. I think it's more like a medium heavy + rod, stiffer than medium heavy. I rocked it with a 16oz lead and it worked like a match made on heaven. Even though it's stout you can still feel everything. It's really surprised me and is now my designated boat rod. Warning stickers were in German.

Light in weight, but strong, durable.
I'm a 63 y/o lifetime fisherman living in Fl. This is one of the better purchases I have made on Amazon. This is a solid rod that will hold up well. Light in weight, but strong. I see it rated for 1oz but this rod will go 2 for sure, or maybe 3 even if you know what you're doing. This is a very good buy for the price.

So far so good
So far, I have only caught a few small catfish using this rod(2-5 lbs). I am amazed at the quality of this rod! I purchased the medium heavy, and it seems more like a heavy rod. This rod is built like a tank and I am sure it will handle anything that comes it’s way. It is an excellent quality rod, the design is beautiful, and the reel seat is one of the best I have ever seen on a spinning rod. It’s ability to break down into four travel-friendly sized pieces is also wonderful! My only complaint is that the first guide is quite small, however it is also far enough away from the reel that I do not think it will be much of an issue. At the moment I have paired it with a Penn battle II 4000 reel, and I plan to try a Penn battle III 6000 on it as well as a Penn slammer III 5500 to see which reel goes best with it.

Did exactly what I wanted it to
Purchased the Blue MH 15-30lb rod. It is described as a 'spinning' rod. I'd challenge that because the first guide is too small in diameter for my liking. So I wouldn't pair it with a 4000 or higher spinning reel. However, my needs were: 1. Easy to travel with 2. Versatility to use as a boat rod for either bottom fishing or bait casting 3. Capable of landing fish to 40 pounds. It excelled at all three. Its four pieces allowed me to fit it into checked luggage. I paired it with a Penn International 975 conventional reel. I practiced casting with it in the backyard using a 1 ounce sinker. I could easily get 40-50 yds distance. So, yes you can cast with this rod. If you needed to put a spinning reel on it, you could - but it's best paired with a smooth casting conventional reel (look at the photo and see how small the first guide is). I caught and landed a 41" Barracuda and a nurse shark that was 85-100 pounds. I expected the rod to fail with that shark but it got the job done. Being four pieces, it isn't going to have a perfect arc like an Ugly Stick or high end St. Croix, but for my purposes listed above it was absolutely perfect. Also it's a good looking rod if that matters to you. The photo is of the battle with the shark. At this moment there is 100 yds of line peeled off the reel and the fish is on the bottom, going the other way.

Very bad made
This is the second rod I buy from fiblink the first one I got it was heavy duty and fantastic this one is horribly made after I put the four pieces together it was so hard to take it off to put it in the car and I noticed that the guy rings are easy to pent! I will return it for sure, one more thing the tip of the rod supposed to be very sensitive but it's very stiff to be considered sensitive.

Just okay
This fishing pole is just okay. It has the correct dimensions and it didn't break or anything, but it is a lot stiffer than I expected when casting and just feels kind of cheaply made. It worked when I used it but it might be worth buying a higher quality rod.
