This product is rated a 5 for its versatility. Be sure to read the directions on how to use this product. The method listed/described on the can was effective when the oven was preheated, and later when cold. Make sure the electrical switches are off. I also used this product on my cast iron skillet (yes, I clean my skillet. Can’t deal with the “salt clean” blah blah) and on my glass top stove. Worked wonders on the glass top, cuts through grease and burnt food and salt like a CHARM.

Very good spray to clean the toughest dirt for ovens and sinks.

I used it in a warm oven. On baked on grease, one might have to apply more than once.

Honestly, nothing that I have ever used previously did the job like this. I also used it on my fancy, enamel coated, Dutch Oven -- which had some serious baked-on grease stains. When using the oven cleaner for this-- it did take of a bit of the enamel in a space (the bottom) where you cannot see the loss. Presently, my preference is to clean it than to preserve it perfectly with grease stains. But, I understand if people prefer to preserve the cookware over the staining. It's just personal preference.
