Will & Grace (The Revival): Season 3 (DVD) [2020]

Just like their originals, even revivals have to end sometime, and so it is with ‘Will & Grace’, which once and for all, comes to an end.This batch of 18 episodes initially takes, in my opinion, a handful of episodes to pick up a head of steam but once it does, it gets into a good, solid stride and while I’ll avoid plot spoilers, the overall arc of the season I think provides a better place for us to leave our gang in than the original finale did back in 2006. It’s a shame to say goodbye, but it feels like the time to have done it, considering it was so unexpectedly revived to begin with.No extras though, which is not unexpected, but it would have been nice to have something included to mark the end after 22 years.

I have loved Will & Grace since the original and the first 2 revival seasons definitely hit the mark. However.... overall, I was left so disappointed with the final season. I appreciate that lockdown impacted on the number of episodes that could be made and the last 6 -8 episodes reflected that as they jumped months ahead in time; but this just made it seem quite bitty in places.The writers seemed to become reliant on re-covering old ground, formulaic over-reactions and physical comedy to everything and bringing back as many actors who have appeared on the show for a small final scene.The last episode gave very neatly tied up, happy endings; but the very final scene was in all honesty... non existent and was left feeling cheated!

What a shame, the first new Will and Grace was really funny and as good as the original series, but this 2nd new season has lost its way, not particularly funny and characters have lost their mojo, time to move on, unfortunately

I have enjoyed the revival series as much as the originals. The additional cast are good fun and the originals have developed in a way which is relatable. They’re age jokes make the characters feel real.

Have loved this series from the start of the original, but I can understand why they decided to finish it after 3 years of the revival, has become somewhat silly.

Awful. Ruins the memories of the original series. This season is just a laugh free zone with a lame ending

great tv series if your a fan of will and grace you need to get this to see how the series finishes

Funny, funny, funny. Love this show and was happy to be given an extra 3 seasons!
