This set of three Ronson butane refills work exactly as they should with my kitchen torch. All I need to do is attach them at the bottom, then press to fill. Yes, a set of three is overkill, but when I bought them, they were much cheaper apiece than buying a single. Since I use my torch to finish sous-vide cooking in the winter (as opposed to searing on the grill), I expect to go through these with no problem.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

These are smaller bottles than I saw at the hardware store but the price is still pretty good. Filled up four of my old lighters and they work again. A couple have to be on the highest flame setting to get a decent flame from them. Not sure if that's a issue with the butane or the old lighters? Just something I noticed. The tip seems to fit the lighters fill connection fine. Didn't really have any issues with butane squirting out or leakage while filling. A couple lighters took a few times to get butane into them but they did eventually fill. Again, not sure if that was a butane issue or the old lighters? All in all it's ok so far. Probably cheaper than buying new lighters, especially if you have some nice ones.

I ordered this because I dropped my other can and it broke the nozzle. That said this arrived on time and as described. They're priced at a good value for three.I'm pleased with them and recommend them.

My wife was a confectionery for 16 years and uses torches on different dishes she makes. She no longer does that professionally, but she goes through this stuff at home quickly still.

Youll need to hold the can upside-down above your lighter because the butane needs to gravity flow down into the lighter. Or whatever you are filling. The pressure in the can won't push butane upwards. You'll just blow all the pressure out and not fill the lighter. Some butane escapes spraying and dripping on your hands. No matter how well you try to secure the fitting. But it evaporates quickly. Not mess left over. Order extras.
