I am SO happy I found this! I have a phobia of wasps and we recently had a nest next to a window. During the summer I hardly open my windows, but this screen has made it much safer to let some much needed fresh air in. The installation is fairly well demonstrated if you watch the video carefully. Once I knew how to install it was just perhaps a little fiddly to securely press the plastic over. I would recommend having an extra pair of hands to make it easier, and especially if you aren’t super strong! Once secure, it’s very easy to use- the magnets are nice and strong and don’t leave any gaps for creepy crawlies. Only thing that bothers me, is that if you have a window with a handle that sticks up- this will make the mesh stick up when you close your window. Therefore, I would allow a little give for the handle, when fixing the mesh panel. Lastly, there is a slight odour to the mesh upon first opening, however this soon disappeared. Overall, I am very pleased, and would definitely repurchase for other windows! Would certainly recommend.

These are great stuff for the summer months when you want to keep a window open and don't want bugs flying round your lamps! Its easy enough to put together, the instructions are pretty clear, and once you get your measurements sorted it fits very well. The plastic is strong enough to hold the mesh and the magnetic strip does a great job, allowing you to pull it open and open/close the window as needed. Worth every penny and I got one for all my windows.

Great product! Keeps my cats inside and the bugs out! Was pretty simple to apply to the window and install it was just hard to do it solo as all the parts are very fiddly, would recommend though 👌

This is a great product. I have used other types before, but this is far superior to any of those. As you can see from the photo, it is hardly visible, but it is very effective. In terms of installation, after I installed the first one, I became more au fait with the best way forward! I put the sticky metallic strip on first, then the magnetic strip. After cutting the mesh to fit the window, I clipped the top and bottom white covering strips on and then took the entire ‘frame’ off the window to attach the side pieces and the corners. Lots of people have said the corners are difficult to attach - and they are if you try to do it with the mesh frame in situ - removing it and placing it on a flat surface such as a table or even the floor, will allow you to clip and the white pieces on much more effectively. You can then slide the corners on easily, cutting the white strips if you need to. It took me about half an hour to do each window. There is plenty of mesh left over - it’s a shame you can’t buy the rest of the stuff separately as you could easily do more than one window, but there is not sufficient of the metallic or white plastic strip to do this. I would definitely recommend this to keep out those horrible flies and anything else you are not keen on sharing your house with! It is a little more expensive, but I think it is worth it to get a superior product.

I’m quite experienced with diy, but I did find securing the mesh into the frame quite challenging whilst keeping it taut (so it didn’t look wrinkled). I thought I had got it as taut as possible after several attempts and resigned to accepting there may be some wrinkling. However, after it all snapped together I removed it from the magnetic frame to cut off excess mesh. When I put it back on the frame it all pulled quite tight. Maybe I was trying to get it too perfect..! Really pleased with this now. It’s easy to pull away to open or close window. You don’t need to pull it completely off either - it’s very flexible. There are clips supplied to give added support to prevent problems when windy. I haven’t fitted these. The magnetic strip is quite strong and I haven’t had any problem on windy days. The strips are easily cut with a Stanley knife or string scissors. When put together it looks very smart.

Tracks two to set up but has been a game changer in our flat. We always get flies and insects flying in our flat when we open the Windows and this has cut them out 100% We also have a cat, so we don’t want her jumping/falling out of our 3-story window so this has given us the freedom to have our windows open In the summer heat while making sure she’s safe. The material is sturdy. The set up was a bit more involved and I could argue it requires 2 people to instal comfortably. The magnets are solid and the trim is super tidy and giant look out of place against our window frame.

Nightmare! We have had this before from a different seller, which was great, but we wanted to do two more windows so bought from this seller. Way to short for the windows, our window length's are 137cms it's about 7ins to short and the metallic grips for behind the net and the white strip in front are a nightmare to fit, they don't just click together like our last one. Once you open the window it's a nightmare to fit back again. Binned. Had to put one star because it wont let me complain otherwise. Total waste of money.

Wir haben das Fliegengitter jetzt über 1 Jahr dran und können uns nicht beschweren. Leichte Anbringung, es kommt nachts keine Stechmücke rein und hält bei jedem Wetter.
