Per my friends they paid around $14.99 for the same item. The blades can change, but it is not easy and you are using your fingers next to these sharp blades. Finally, the recipe book is the smallest print ever seen in a tiny, tiny book. My recommendation is to shop around and get a better deal on a basic kitchen tool. I am keeping, but think this price is too high and the "extras" are really not worth it.

I was really excited to get this product and unfortunately disappointed after one use. I used it to spiralize sweet potatoes and assumed this product could do that since it was advertised in one of the images. The cap or door that kept the blade in place kept popping off and after about half way there was no way to keep spinning the sweet potato through the slicer since I couldn't grip it. I tried using the cap to grip the sweet potato, but that didn't work. I wasn't able to spiralize over half of it. I also feel like a paid a premium for what I thought was a better product, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

This vegetable slicer is very easy to use and to store. I did cut myself slightly when I was washing it, but that's avoidable if you're conscious to avoid the blade. I've only tried zucchini with it, but am excited to expand into other vegetables. Thinking of buying one for my sister!

I have been wanting one of these slicers for a very long time now. I had found a recipe for some baked zucchini on Pinterest and really wanted to try it out. So when I received this I was so excited because it gave me a chance to try it out. It is very easy to use and the blade is easily interchangeable too. If you do not want the spiral cut then just slide the blade out and make the thin spiral cuts. They reminded me of the potato fries that you can get at the fair so that was cool. My zucchini, however, was sliced and ready to go within a few minutes. The box it came in was a good size and it also had the peeler and it is never bad to have an extra around. I will be trying out the garlic press that also comes with this soon.I bought this at a discounted price in exchange of my honest review.

It got clogged after 3 turns. Useless.

A larger spiral slicer which accommodates bigger vegetables. Seems well made.

The spiral slicer is very easy to use. We love it and will be using it daily

I wish I had gotten this ages ago! So easy to use and to clean and makes great zucchini noodles!
