BUY THIS ONE!!!
I have had impacted wax clogged in my ear once before, which was removed by an ENT, so I knew the feeling when it happened again. It was a week before I could get an appointment, so I wanted to try removing it at home. It felt like a suction cup was stuck inside my ear, and I couldn’t hear out of it at all - so disorienting.I mulled over a LOT of different products - some simple like Debroxy from Walgreens and some more expensive like the electric ones with cameras. After reading reviews, I didn’t think the ear softener drops alone would be effective for mine, but I was hesitant to try an irrigation system and accidentally injure my inner ear.I had almost decided to just wait to see the ENT, when I came across this product and saw it was developed and patented BY AN ACTUAL EAR NOSE THROAT DOCTOR. Bonus- prime could do same day delivery. They have an electric model that is about $40 more expensive, but decided to try this one since it was cheaper and less likely to break in the future than something electric. It arrived with very thorough instructions that I could tell were written by an a doctor. I used the softening drops first and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then I used the irrigation system with warm water. It was very gentle and I liked that I could control the speed. It took one full bottle before wax finally started coming out, but once it did, SO MUCH wax started pouring out into the sink. It was very satisfying. I finally felt the release of pressure in my ear and it was instant relief. I refilled the bottle 3 times during the irrigation process until the water ran clean. My husband checked my ear with the otoscope afterward and was able to visualize my ear canal (couldn’t beforehand) and see that all the wax was gone. Actually a great little otoscope, which I wasn’t really expecting. This is 1000000% worth the money- save yourself a trip to the doctor! I am so glad I found this!!!

The discomfort is finally gone, and I can hear again!
The media could not be loaded. Watch the attached video - One of my ears was totally fine, but the other one had a huge blockage of dark earwax that was uncomfortable and made my hearing muffled. I bought this full kit because I wanted to be able to dissolve the ear wax and then clean it out, and also I liked the look of the spray tip, not spraying water directly into your ear seemed safer to me. I laid on my side for about 20 minutes with the dissolving drops in place, and every few minutes, I'd sit up (keeping my head tilted) and move around / wiggle my ear / etc, to make sure it was getting a good opportunity to dissolve everything. After that, I drained the drops out of my ear and the liquid was super tinted with wax already, so I was pretty excited that it was going to work.I used a Thermapen to make sure I had the water at exactly 98 degrees, and within about 4 pumps, the first chunk came out. Then about halfway through the bottle, the second one did! These chunks were huge, about the size of a pencil eraser combined!I did get a bit nauseous, but I get nauseous extremely easily. My wife used the otoscope before and after to verify that the ear was clean, and it worked great! I also have a wireless otoscope camera that I used to take the attached video. It was by Crazysoul but they're all pretty much the same - there's 2 main designs. One with a fixed pick and one with a screw-on pick. There were a lot of people who had the screw-on pick come dislodged in their ear, so I made sure to get one that had the fixed pick that is part of the same molding.I used the alcohol and vinegar mixture to dry out my ear, and it burned soooo bad - partly because I've been scraping at my ear for the last week with my fingers and q tips trying to get some relief before ordering all this stuff.I'm going to use the ear drops I also bought as the final drying - Bigwave Drops, because they have some oils and antiseptics that will help keep the ear canal even cleaner. I'm planning on using the drops anytime I get water in my ear going forward, so I can keep everything clean and fresh and hopefully avoid this issue in the future.

Decent
Item works but I can’t do it to myself I feel like I get dizzy or I do it too fast. I really like everything it comes with so I use most of it often. It’s easy to use but better do it sitting down and not so fast nor often. Turns out I get ear pain even with no excess wax according to my doctor so I don’t know if it is muscle tension or if it could be something else.

I CAN HEAR AGAIN!
My right ear has been compacted for the better part of 4 years. Drops wouldn't help, bulbs and syringes didn't help, and the scoops were too risky to try alone. On the first try using this, after sitting with their drops in for 10 minutes, it COMPLETELY flushed all the compacted wax out. I was mortified by the size of what came out, and then more kept coming. It's almost off-putting how well I can hear out of the ear now. It's so clear that my left ear now sounds muffled by comparison, and I thought the left ear was fine. Works perfectly, not uncomfortable, felt totally safe. Definitely do it over a sink or in the shower if alone and not able to use the little trough thing. I did get water everywhere, but I was also using a lot of pressure.
