Great items, great price!
Very good devices. Arrived next day. Easy installation in less than 10 minutes. Very good price compared to local auto parts store. Saved $35! Removes axle bearing rusting with spring loaded grease to bearings. All it takes is a few grease gun squirts to ensure axles are lubricated and good to go.

they do the job
Very tight fit, but I got them on and they seem to be doing the job.

They come oversized.
The bearing protectors came in a timely manner. I read the reviews and yes, they were oversized and would not go in. Luckily I have a small lathe and lathe file. It didn't take much to get them down to size. If you don't have a way to file them down they might not work for you. Other than being a little big, they worked just fine.

Tight greasab le bearing cap
I believe I have a Dexter #3500 axle under my trailer. s others have said, this takes a lot of force to pound the bearing cap into place. The bearing cap has a chamfered edge on it. The hub is also chamfered on this axle. I used a piece of 2x4 and a 2-1/2 lb hammer. It wasn't starting so I checked the cap. The chrome was being rubbed off and the copper plating was starting to show. Started pounding on it again and it finally started into the hub. I sure hope I don't have to replace the bearings! I think the "cap" will have t be destroyed to get the cotter key and nut off.

Too big to fit in 1.98 bearing
Waste of money

I think beveling helps.
Like others said, I ground a bevel on the leading edges.

Make sure
These are well made and I suggest you check your measurements before you buy them but once you do they fit very very tight,I took the edge off with a fine file on the inner edge just to help get them started then with a piece of wood and a small hammer I finished installing them and they are good to go
