Purchased for my mk7 Transit camper, tested the heater in the garage prior to fitting, everything worked fine, on full power setting it takes mine 4-5 minutes to reach full heat, takes about the same time to shut down completely after pressing the off button. Draws up to about 11 amps max at initial start up on max power (control panel set at 5.5 Hz), drops down to 3.8 -4.4 amps on up to temperature, at the minimum setting of 1.1Hz it draws less than 1 amp, at 3Hz, approx mid setting it draws 1-2 amps. Reasonably fuel efficient, I estimate about 200ml per 30 mins on full power.I'd recommend an aftermarket fitting plate with turret if needing to fit to a vehicle with floor insulation, Google Diesel Heater Turret mounting plate.I'm giving it 4 stars because long term reliability is still unknown otherwise it would be 5 stars.

My first experience with this company didn’t go well at first. Their courier lost the item whilst claiming I’d received it. By the time I’d claimed a refund they had sent a replacement so started a yo-yo dialog. Surprisingly they continued to offer support and due to all the hassle gave me a modest discount. The heater worked immediately once set up and gives out a huge amount of heat. On full output I got around five hours for 2.5 litres of red diesel; a reasonable return. The programmer not only controls the heat but gave us two on/off timers. The heater unfortunately stopped working the next time it was switched on with error code-03; notorious glow plug error. I contacted the seller and they’ve immediately agreed to replace the glow plug although this has developed into another yo-yo discussion. They ask me to test something, another day goes by then another question. Not good. So I’ve asked Amazon for a refund but it’s NOT POSSIBLE. Firstly they stated I cannot return the item because it’s got hazard combustible materials. Excuse me but they send plenty of those such as gas propelled deodorants and besides what about my statutory rights as a buyer receiving faulty goods. So whilst the product was good the service from both Amazon and the seller leaves me the buyer wishing I’d never started.

I have had a few parking heaters, in boats and vans and they are fantastic but expensive. This heater is incredible value for money and easily as good. It came with everything you need to get installed, and only took a couple of hours. This one I have installed in our summer house, it gets used everyday and needs some warmth for the winter. The dogs love it and I no longer have the expense of an electric 3kw heater.Fuel is cheap, as I understand this can run on red or white diesel, heating oil, kerosene or C1 paraffin. Its amazingly economical, it doesn't even look like the fuel level has gone down even though i have had it on for a few days.Cracking piece of kit ideal for boats vans or even your shed, outhouse or outdoor office.

Instructions arent very easy to understand sometimes. You tube has some good videos for the planar install. Some of the others are nit much to go by. I.E different peoples interpetation of there own understanding of the instructions etcI had to buy an extra length of exaust hose (was'nt long enough)If the manufacturer had an installation video it would be great for future buyers.The pump is very noisy, it has to be sound deadened and suspended by cable ties to quiten sound.

I have 2 years experience fitting Chinese diesel heaters on boats and vans. Used this product for just over a month and already its bust. I waited 5 days for this item, tracking was a lie, I contacted the seller the day after it didn't arrive and they hadn't even sent it. Poor seller communication. Seller itinerary fake (they had to change my requested colour because they'd "run out" however next day it still stated 12 available), build quality poor.Cheap as they may be, save yourself the bother and unnecessary stress and steer well clear from this item. Unless you want to buy and fit 12 per year for one setup. Thank God I have one in storage from another seller otherwise I would literally be freezing to death right now. Brilliant. Didn't work at first had fault code 01, bit I knew I had a new battery so upgrade my wire for thicker stuff and worked second time. Used about 7 times- perfect.

My old boat heater was 30 years old and obsolete and becoming unreliable, unable to light unless battery fully charged. I bought this heater and it is so good, well made, good starter, very simple to plumb in as I could use the old trunking. It is quiet and a good heater. DANGER...BE AWARE ON A BOAT YOU MUST USE A PROPER BOAT EXHAUST PIPE AND NOT THE SILENCER SUPPLIED but apart from that.... I bought another as a spare

I brought this item to replace a old heater in my van.Easy to instal & worked fantastic for a week...then....I did have an issue where the fan, it wouldn't shutdown on switching off. No error codes either.I contacted the seller whom sent me new sensor & motherboard straight away. 10/10 for that.The unit is now functioning great & excellent value for money.
