Nope, no difference - just vendors not using the same item number

is the blade of this parang all the way though the handle or is it just a couple inch in the handle?

From how it feels, it would seem that they covered the bottom of the blade with this rubber to make a handle. In any event, it's on or in there good. I can not imagine how you'd seperate the metal from the handle unintentionally.

Regarding the sheath, the first bullet point in the item description says "100% leather," and the last bullet says "ballistic nylon" -- which is it?

Durable nylon, but best machete I've ever owned!

Do the new models still come with condor and el salvador engraved on the blade or do they have condor and el salvador printed on the blade?

My last Condor, the Bushcraft Parang, came about a year ago. It was engraved (or stamped).
