tl;dr--It THUMPS. So, I followed a seriously detailed review I found on another bluetooth portable speaker listed on Amazon, I believe it was an Anker model, something that looked reasonably good for the price. Well, this review had given the full pros and cons of this model along with like three others, but to me the pros for this one stuck out a lot more than the cons. Honestly, for thirty bucks, I think this EDUPLINK6 is a steal. I can't speak to the waterproof aspect of it, because I don't enjoy going to the beach or pool all that much. But, as a guy who works overnight in a small warehouse with fantastic acoustics and free reign to blast music as loud as I want to as long as I get the job done, well, let me tell you that this speaker THUMPS! It says 20 watts of juice is coming out of it, but I don't even know what that means. I'm an 80s guy. What I know how to compare it to is a Ghetto Blaster, with dual cassette decks like I used to own. And is it a Ghetto Blaster? No. But!--it's like a Ghetto Blaster's smokin' hot redhead cousin with sun freckles whose wearing tight fitting spandex and, to quote Cyndi Lauper's song made for the movie The Goonies, it's good enough for me. There are many songs one can test to ascertain the quality of a speaker. I can think of none better than either Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water or Highway Star. I mean, I'm a heavy metal thunder kinda guy, and let me say, I was JAMMIN'... hard! For thirty bucks, I would rate this a definite 10/10 product. If it was any more expensive, I'd expect more and rate it an 8 or a 9 out of 10, but, I mean, I feel like I'm getting serious VALUE here. It didn't come with a charger box, but that's no big deal, hardly anything does anymore. I felt that the USB-C cable included was of high quality. There's also this microSD card slot on this bad boy, and while I'm sure it handles bigger ones, I only had a 64gb one on hand loaded up with a massive amount of MP3s that cycled free of bluetooth sync by simply pressing and holding the plus or minus buttons for a couple of seconds. Yeah, I don't even need to fire up my laptop or phone and deal with youtube or spotify's annoying ads interrupting my flow. Everything I ever downloaded from Napster in the late 90s fit on my SD card and I have not been disappointed by this speaker for even a second since taking it out of the box! Just to be fair, I also played a little rap on it--Biggie Smalls since it had big sound in a small package--and let me tell you, I was still Hypnotized by its quality! If you're wondering if you should get it, let me give you that little push you might need by saying that first, I don't review anything, and second I had to give this product a review because it's that damn good. So, it's a HARD RECOMMEND from me and unless you really have a hundred plus bucks burning a hole in your pocket to blow on a much better model, this is going to be the best bang for your buck--by a longshot! And don't forget to pick up an SD card if you don't already have one. They're the cassette tape of the future!

I'd been looking for a Bluetooth speaker, and my hair stylist was using one of these in her shop. It sounded great, and she had good things to say about it, so I bought one. So far, I simply connect to my phone and use it to listen to music while I do things around my apartment. Eventually, I'll probably listen to podcasts and audio books with it, too. This speaker also would be great to take along to an outing where you want to have some music (like a picnic, reunion, the beach, etc.), or even just out on your porch. It's easily portable. Depending on space, you might want two, but one is satisfactory for my needs. It's simple to charge and connect, and it seems to hold its charge for a while. It comes in different colors and has funky lights, none of which matter to me; I just want a decent speaker, and this one fit the bill at a very reasonable price! I love my little pink speaker!

Very loud, great quality bass to it. Great for walks, bbqs, or even taking a shower! Definitely worth the price!

It's about 30% wider and taller than a soda can, for reference. It can be set upside down or upright; there is silicone on either end and it won't mar your desktop and will be stable. The bass is actually fine but I like the treble to stand out a bit more and the bass tends to drown it. I suspect most people will like the sound. I'm an odd duck. Overall the sound is good for the price point. The second picture is how low I have the volume. My old speaker, a G-POP, would need to be all the way up for me to hear it. I can see how at full volume this would work for a gathering of people in or outdoors. I'm just needing it for listening to music or watching TV on my chromebook. I am not a person who needs a surround sound and all that; this works just fine for me. I can't speak to the battery life; I just received it. I know I won't have to keep it on the charger as I have been doing with my old speaker. If it can last my workday, that's sufficient.

Great speaker! Looks exactly like the picture (I use it mainly at work and haven't taken a photo). It is a lot louder than I was expecting, for example, i am on a forklift most of the day and at full volume I can hear it clear as day. I was most surprised at the bass quality. I listen mostly to heavy metal/ screamo style music. The heavier songs sometimes cause the bass to overpower the treble and mids, but it's not a terrible amount. For the price and quality I would recommend this to literally everyone as a portable speaker. I'm kinda scared to test the "water resistance" of it though. It also comes with a color matching shoestring styled lanyard with a pre tied knot. Which I discovered is easy to single not to a belt loop, and just as easily remove from said belt loop. Very lightweight as well. As for battery life, at full charge I want to say it lasts around 3 or 4 hours (never really timed it to be honest just an estimate) of continuous full volume play time. 10/10 recommend. 5 stars across the board. I am going to purchase a second one to test out the dual speaker linkage mentioned in the product description. Will post another review when I do.

UPDATE: The seller contacted me IMMEDIATELY after my previous review and I allowed them to right their wrong. The speaker has been charged, working and playing ever since I received it. The speaker is nice and loud and plays in length. Thanks Allan for contacting me asap and I had another speaker in 2 days Great customer service and was very apologetic regarding my experience with my initial speaker. Would DEFENITELY buy again from this seller. Previous Review: This is not a good speaker. Used it once and then it won't play anymore. The battery kept dying and didn't come back on. Not worth it!

Me gustó bastante la bocina. Muy buena calidad de construcción. Muy buen sonido y la luz le da un buen toque, aunque la verdad aún no sé y no he checado si se puede apagar para aumentar la duración de batería que, con las luces encendidas es muy buena. Las luces siguen el ritmo de la musica sólo después de un 25% del volumen. Para su tamaño tiene buenos bajos que se pueden aumentar ecualizando al gusto desde el equipo transmisor. No he reproducido musica directo de la bocina pero quizá alguna vez lo haga. No he calado la resistencia al agua y no creo que llegue a hacerlo.

Dieser Lautsprecher ist wie viele dieser "günstigen" Lautsprecher eine Mogelpackung... Es wird mit einen großartigem Klang und wie in diesem Fall auch mit einer Wasserdichtigkeit geworben...beides ist jedoch nicht zutreffend. Kommen wir zum Thema Klang:Dieser ist in geringer Lautstärke in Ordung und für einfache Anwendungen noch ausreichend.Minimaler Bass ist vorhanden,Mittlere und hohe Frequenzen hören sich bei höherer Lautstärke aber nicht gut an.Auch Stimmen werden dann sehr unsauber und stark verzerrt wiedergegeben. Es sollte jedoch jedem klar sein das man für den sehr günstigen Preis hier keine Wunder erwarten darf. Dieser Lautsprecher erreicht leider niemals die Klangqualität eines JBL oder Bose Lautsprechers...was man aber wie schon beschrieben auch nicht erwarten darf und kann. Ich habe unteranderem auch einen JBL Clip 5...der ist etwa halb so groß wie dieser,spielt aber trotz der Mini-Größe in einer völlig anderen Liga...selbst dieser kostet das doppelte wie dieser,was er aber aufgrund der Leistung aber auch wert ist. Kommen wir zum Thema Wasserdichtigkeit: Wie bitte soll der Lautsprecher Wasserdicht sein, wenn man hinter Befestigungsöse für das Trageband ins Gehäuse gucken kann??? Ich habe dies aus diesem Grund auch nicht einmal probiert da mir klar war das dies nicht funktionieren wird. Hier sollte der Hersteller seine Werbeversprechen stark überarbeiten und diesen als maximal Spritzwasserfest deklarieren...das was hier beworbene wird entspricht einfach nicht der Wahrheit! Ansonsten ist dieser Lautsprecher für eine leise und einfache Anwendung aber ausreichend,er macht was er soll,wenn auch nicht gut.Er ließ sich schnell und einfach per Bluetooth verbinden und lief problemlos.Auch die bunte Beleuchtung an den beiden Seiten ist ein nettes Gimmick. Wenn ihr nach einen günstigen Lautsprecher sucht kauft euch aber lieber einen anderen...da gibts z.B. die Hersteller Soundcore oder Xiaomi...da bekommt man oft für unter 30€ auch schon Modelle die deutlich besser sind...vielleicht leuchten diese nicht bunt,klingen aber deutlich besser und sind von viel höherer Qualität. Ich werde diesen Lautsprecher nun meiner Mutter geben...die hört gerne Hörbücher und Podcasts...dafür ist dieser Lautsprecher geeignet...für mehr ist er es meiner Meinung aber nicht.

Es un dispositivo bastante bueno, el volúmen es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, la duración de la batería es muy buena. Es muy resistente, la llevé a la playa y se escucha bien... Obviamente no es como una bocina grande pero el tamaño la hace muy cómoda y práctica de llevar

quite loud and fully waterproof. The only drawback is that when working as a pair (in stereo) and close to the sources which can distract Bluetooth signal (router or computer), there could be from time to time short silence when music played. But as I checked it is common with this technology.
