Ordered two. One had broken tip
I ordered two of these, one had a broken tip. Had a tip repair kit, just stuck an end tip on it. It’s three inch shorter than normal.Love them both as is. Needed an open face to throw non weighted plastic worms.Learning my 5 year old grandson to bass fish. He likes the open face for now. He wanted to use one of my or dads bait casters but it’s to complicated at this point.He caught his first largemouth bass, completely on his own last summer on one of these set ups.Only about a pound and a half, but I had it mounted, regardless. He put it on the wall at my house next to his mom’s and Aunt Bs first bass.Memories are awesome. Now for his younger brothers first bass, may be a while, he’s one. 🥰

what the heck?
I ordered a 1 piece Rod and Reel combo. The rod came broke in half and put in a smaller box. It also did not come with a reel.

Balance and strength
Pole and reel combo is a great price. Reel works smooth. Pole has great feel and strength.

Good value for a light rod and reel set up
For the price of $60 it works pretty well. The combo is paired decently with the 5’ 6” light action rod and 750 sized reel. I would’ve preferred a once piece rod but it’s fine as a two piece rod. I used it for pan fish and trout with 6 lb test fluorocarbon line.

Good rod & reel combo, but no reverse lever.
It's a nice little rod & reel combo for my 1.5 acre pond. I just wish it had a reverse lever. I probably would have purchased a different rod & reel combo if I had realized it didn't.

feels way smoother than the promax white colorway
i have been using the pro max for a while, and it has been great... my gf has recently gotten into bass fishing, and i purchased her the black max, and it is cheaper than the pro max, it feels way smoother than the pro max, the thing is going into fall bass fishing with this new rod.. i havent caught a fish , but it just feels perfect compared to the more expensive promax..overall great combo!! great price!
