Excellent light for vlogging
I have purchased Neewer products before and consider them to be of good quality and a high standard. This vlogging light is no exception. It has a metal casing, so feels to be a quality item and also looks the part. The metal casing has a 1/4" threaded hole on the bottom edge and also on the left-hand edge, so it can be mounted landscape or portrait on a tripod. On the bottom edge there are 2 inputs (a USB C and a USB micro) for charging, but also a USB 5V output, for charging your phone/equipment on the go. The recessed "on/off" button is on the top edge and is neat, also out of harm's way. On the right edge is the adjuster wheel which controls the brightness and also the colour output. Push the wheel in once and release to change between brightness adjustment and colour adjustment - the display panel clearly shows which function is active. Push the wheel up to increase (0-100% brightness) & down for less (3200 - 5600K). At 5600 it is brilliant white and at 3200 it is a soft orange. It jumps in intervals of 100k for tone and single %age points for brightness, giving it a very wide level of adjustment to suit your needs - the lower frequency is good for getting better skin tones. The display also shows battery level and battery life remaining in hours and minutes at the current setting (both light level and colour level are displayed too).It is surprisingly powerful - I recently used it for filming about 3 feet away from my face and only needed about 5% power. At 100% it is incredibly bright and there is no way you would want it anywhere near the upper brightness levels for vlogging, but you might for in-fill, so long as the distance is not too far. There are 180 (10 x 18) LED lights and the whole unit is slightly smaller than a smart phone and about the same thickness. There is a diffuser over the front of the lights which is good quality. Remember to peel the protective film off the front of the diffuser when you receive the item.It comes in a cloth bag, handy for keeping it protected.I can't see any down-side. It is completely silent in operation, it doesn't "whistle" like some lights do. It doesn't "flash" as far as I can tell, but maybe at 60fps you might get some, I can't be sure. I haven't noticed any personally, but I'm no expert. It's great quality and just brilliant. It seems to be a really good price - maybe a bit more than some of the others on the market, but I suspect the quality of this item is far better. Almost certainly it isn't waterproof, but I suspect very few of these types of vlogging lights are.I can't recommend it highly enough.

Charging port
The light was really bright and great for pictures but the charging port stopped working after 3 months so I can no longer use it, luckily I was able to get my money back

Really good easy to use and compact.
I am really impressed with this video light, it is a good size and makes a significant difference even at 10% output. A really nic touch is the display showing you the expected life of the battery at different lighting conditions. It uses a sheet of plastic over the LED's to help diffuses the light. I did notice a wrinkle in this but was able to smith it out easily. They also provide you with a carry pouch.I look forward to using this to improve the colour tone (light levels and colour tea variable) of my videos as well as reuse unwanted shadows. A lot of product for a small amount of money!
