Garam Masala, 3-Ounce Jar, Northern Indian Spice Blend, Richly Spicy But Not Hot, Kosher, Non ETO

I was looking for a good consistent source for garam masala and when I found the Simply Organic brand here I was very pleased. I have had excellent luck with all the Simply Organic spices I have used and this garam masala is just as good as I expected it to be. Simply Organic is part of the Frontier family of spices and I trust them for dependable quality as they are a company whose business practices are good for both my personal health and the health of the planet. In a nutshell, this garam masala tastes great. As you may know, garam masala is a mix of spices. This one has organic cardamom, organic cinnamon, organic cloves, organic cumin, organic black pepper, organic coriander. Every brand is a little different but I like this one better than most. It's up to your personal taste though so you'll have to try it and see. Of course, it is easy to add a little more cumin or other spices if you like to tweak the flavor a bit. I often combine garam masala with other spices anyway. All in all I am quite happy with this garam masala and glad to see the Simply Organic brand on Amazon. My local grocery stores have a fair selection of Simply Organic spices but they are not currently stocking this one. I highly recommend this product and will be back repeatedly to buy as needed.

You can put this on steaks, soups, stews, omelets

This is the best Garam Masala that I have tasted. Other versions have a cloying taste or aroma. This is clean and fresh tasting yet warm. I put two teaspoons in a 48 oz. jar of applesauce and it makes a great Indian flavored applesauce. I have been using this brand of garam masala for 3 or 4 years now and it is always a pleasure to use.

I love the flavor and smell of this spice. My only reason for giving it only 4 stars is that it’s so pricey. Other than that I have no complaints.

I have used this brand of Garam Masala for years and love it. Not all brands of this spice are created equal and I have had unfortunate experiences with others. This brand of GM is by far the best I have ever used. Highly recommend this.

I liked everything about this combination of spices! Organic everything and perfect for seasoning chicken in recipes. I prefer to add my own hot spices to taste so this was everything I had hoped it would be. Recommended.
