Is this safe for children to use as well?

Yes it's safe to use in children's shoes. Lightly clean and dry inside of shoes and sprinkle foot powder into the shoes. It keeps the shoes fresh and free of odors.

Does it have expiration date?

The Dr. Scholl's Odor X Sweat Absorbing Foot Powder is a cosmetic product. Cosmetic products do not carry a specific expiration date. Those are used for products containing an active OTC drug ingredient such as antiperspirants. However, all our products, including our cosmetic products meet the full requirements for 3 years of shelf life minimum.

Can I sprinkle this directly on my fuzzy slippers or will it ruin slipper?

If your slippers are washable, then you can sprinkle it into your slipper. Over time, you will need to give the slippers a good washing on the inside, otherwise the powder will "cake up" over time. Alternatively, you can rub the powder on your feet and use socks before you wear your fuzzy slippers.
