Thanks Joni, I love to listen to your Youtube channel and so I decided to buy your book. It has so much great information and your writing style is so organized and easy to follow. I can now understand some things that have been difficult to wrap my head around.

I have mixed feelings about this work. The information would be welcome, but the text reads as though it was dictated to voice recognition and then the author never looked back at the result! Was there an editor? I can't tell. For example, opening to a random page I find 'complements' when I infer 'compliments', 'indicted' where I infer 'indicated'. And who is this 'material grandmother' who shows up again and again? Each page is riddled with typos, some of which are decipherable, but some obscure the intended meaning. This sloppiness becomes tedious as it persists throughout the book.Vedic astrology is a science requiring precision, but this (2nd!) edition was not prepared with attention to detail. That rather puts me off ordering more from this writer/recorder, especially considering how often one sees finely edited, independently published works at half the price.​

Amazing information on the planets and house meanibgs. An indispensable guide for astrological studies by Joni Patry. I highly recommend this.

Joni Patry is quite possible the BEST Astrologer I have ever come across! I absolutely love her books and I look so forward to my twice annual "readings" with her as well.

I’m only about 2 chapters in and although the information is helpful the typos in the writing are frustrating and make the understanding of a difficult subject even more confusing - author-please pay for someone to edit future copies .... for the price you wouldn’t expect a typo on nearly every page.

Needs work on the graphics the Chart illustrations are way too small to read without a magnifying glass. I suggest a half page diagram and have someone review the result both in print and the e-book. In spite of that I really like Joni's books. I have read many Jyotish texts over the past 20 years or so and I have been a student of all astrologies both east and west since the 1970's.
