Very comfortable shirt, casual, dressy, feminine all in one! Love the puff sleeves, very forgiving if you have bigger arms. Shirt runs a little snug but it is still comfortable when sitting, very strong buttons which is a must if your larger in the chest area! Breathable material

This is a beautiful blouse. My only issue is that it has a weird fit. It's tight in the middle, and too big in the top. I got a large, but I really need a medium, however it would be too tight in the middle. It's huge in the top making the fit too big. I had to put a pin in the top. Oh, and one more cookie this blouse will be toast for the middle.

This shirt is gorgeous! Flattering silhouette, with classic style. I lean towards XL, but often find L better for Scarlet Darkness, and I've included pictures of both for comparison. The buff ("flesh color") is L, the lilac is XL. I can do either, because the lacing allows for tightening the back. With the L, I still need to lace it some to get the look I want, so there's plenty of room. I do like the way the XL falls when laced, though, and the bust doesn't have too much fabric (which has been an issue for me sizing up in some of their other styles). It has snaps above the buttons to keep it modest. The fabric does show textures underneath, and you can see how my black pants show through the buff one. The sleeves are not too tight on my arms, and the shirt moves well. I don't wash the ribbons, and I steam it for wrinkles. In case you're addicted to this brand like I am, I included how it looks under some different styles of corsets.

Cute style. The medium mostly fit, except for there is a lot of extra material in the chest area. Maybe would work for a large tested person but that's not me! It's a little bit too fussy as it needs to be ironed, laced snapped, and buttoned.

Very comfy, good material, not to tight. I have always liked the look of these renaissance tops but some just didn't work well. This one DOES, it is surprising how comfortable is is and the price is a great value too!

Not true to size and not as pictured. Ordered a small and feels like I'm wearing a large. I'm 5'6" 130 lb. The picture shows having 7 buttons but the one I received has only 5? Even though it's floppy on me I can't lift my arms or my stomach shows.

This is a lovely, gothic looking shirt. I first ordered a Large which is my normal size. I was able to button it and it looked fine across the chest, but it gaped a little bit between the buttons and the sleeves were just a little tight. I returned it for an XL and it fits perfectly. For reference I am 5'4", 170lbs, and a 36C bust. It has room for my chest and doesn't feel stretched at all. The fabric is not see through, and doesn't feel thin. The corset ribbon in the back can be tied either loose or tight depending on the look I want for around my waist. It's not a true corset top though, so it won't cinch you in. It is just a lightweight ribbon. I also really, really like that there are two little snaps in the bust area so I can keep wardrobe malfunctions from happening. Things to look out for: The buttons are a little hard to do up. They button into stretchy loops and it does feel like a button could get ripped off easily. I fixed that by reinforcing the sewing of the buttons with more thread and they do feel stronger now. I had a little problem with the ribbon in the back slipping out when I was putting it on a hanger, but it's easy to fix. I will definitely be hand washing this shirt though. I think if you put it through the washer and dryer it might ruin it. I'll also be using my garment steamer for wrinkles as an iron would probably melt this fabric.

This powder blue steam-punk top is pretty but it arrived a wrinkled mess & 2 small stains on the back. Had to wash & destain it. Instructions say NO IRON, so it ends up not looking CRISP & perfect. Will try to iron on very low heat with a linen towel on top. Overall it's a nice PAIN of a pretty blouse.

Didn't even get a chance to wear it. Cold wash and air dried it like I do for all my clothes when I buy them online. Now it's far too small. At least 2 sizes down if not 3.

Bought for a steampunk party to go with a black skirt and wide lace up belt it was perfect !
