It's quite funny when I'm out running with my friends. They often forget to turn their head torch on as mine is so bright!!!!! Not only is it bright, it is super light. I wear it over an ultra thin skull cap (like cyclists wear under their helmets) and you don't know it's there. Really quick to tighten up with the mechanism too. 2 seconds to fit it on your head perfectly and unlike the elastic models you see, it's not clamped to your head hard. As I say, you don't know it's there because it's so light and isn't applying pressure via a tight elastic clamped around your head. Beautiful product! Being able to change the battery once the one supplied gets old and has been through loads of charge cycles, is just icing on the cake.

This head torch is very light and comfortable to run with. I don't even notice that I am wearing it. The torch is nice and bright. What I really like is that it's rechargeable but can also take standard aaa batteries. The charge so far has lasted well but I have only run for about 5 miles after dark with it on continuously on high beam, so I am not sure how long it lasts with each charge. Would I buy the same torch again? Probably because I like how light weight it is.

Really comfortable to wear, lightweight and sits on your head like a crown instead of just compressing around it. No sweaty band to irritate you either so comfortable for wearing for hours at a time. The light spread is fantastic! It produces an even, wide spread of light. Not the brightest ultimately, but bright enough for trail running and I've found too narrow a beam causes me serious problems with tunnel vision causing me to become disorientated. This is far more comfortable and natural to run with. Highly recommended, I am looking forward to testing battery life on some night ultras but the fact you can switch to AAAs (slight weight penalty over the core) is another bonus.

A neat design and a good alternative to some of the other running head torches. Good level of brightness and re-chargeable battery. We shall see about durability ...

It's an odd construction but fits well. Works well in the dark by shining a bright light that enables me to see. It has prevented me from stepping in puddles, falling down holes, tripping over tree roots and not running into walls or trees. It's really very useful. It's an odd design that may put people off, sometimes I put it on upside down but soon can adjust it. Once strapped on it fits tightly and does not bounce about even if I'm going at it really fast.

They were perfect. Super lightweight and really ( really!) bright. I run trails as well as roads and once you get used to the head wobble it feels like running in daylight. Brilliant. Until they just died. Dead. Worked on one day. Nothing the next. Tried new batteries - nothing. Let’s hope the Petzl 3 year warranty holds true. I would be tempted to replace with the same anyway hoping this was just a bad one.

My wife already had this light for running at night, this purchase was for a gift to our son, it's a a great light for anyone who runs at night, lightweight, comfortable and a bright light

Had this torch for a couple of months, used it in light rain and it has stopped working. No response from Petzl customer care team. Not worth the money.
