Our favorite rub, hands down-
My husband always uses this on his ribs and people say they're the best they've ever eaten. We like that it is lower in sodium than most rubs you can buy so, therefore, we can use a heavy hand. We always put the Blue Hog on the slabs a day before and wrap them in plastic wrap. We stack the racks when they're done and wrap them tightly in parchment and foil for about an hour while we get the rest of the dinner on, then cut them at the last minute. Finger-licking good! It's great on chicken too. Magical spices!Expensive, but worth it. I have bought the big container before and kept it in the fridge. It lasted a couple of years,... but this time I bought the small one just a little over a week ago and it's already empty. We used it for 3 large-ish racks of Babybacks and the rest on chicken. Next time I'll get the large one.

It’s awesome
I put it on a 9.5 lb pork shoulder—I slathered it in yellow mustard all over first, then & salt & pepper& then the rub. I smoked it low & slow & it was unreal. The bark was sublime. I even used it on chicken quarters today. So good!

A good tasting rub. We used it without BBQ sauce the first time. It's not a sweet as the MeatHead (amazing Ribs .com) recipe

Best dry rub for ribs and pulled pork. Good on chicken too.
I bought this on suggestions for a high quality dry rub for pork and chicken and this does not disappoint. A lot of dry rubs taste like variations of seasoned salt which I can easily make at home. Blue Hogs has a wonderful flavor profile that tastes great on pulled pork and ribs. Professional bbqers use this stuff all the time. For the backyard grilled or smoker, this stuff is great. Salty, sweet with some other flavors that would be difficult to duplicate. I have made many homemade dry rubs from recipes and my own mind, but none have beat this in flavor

Poor packaging
Got my order today in the mailbox. When I opened the bag it was like a Rib Rub powder bomb. The powder went all over the place and made a major mess. I love this stuff and the kitchen smelled wonderful. As for cleaning up the mess. UGH. Should be shipped in a box. jmo
