ViscontiInk Cartridge - Blue (Box of 10)

It’s ironic to write a review about ink without using ink! I’ve been using these cartridges in my Diplomat pen for years. Great consistent quality.

UPDATE - Tom from Altman Luggage (the seller) reached out to me very promptly after I let them know there was a problem. He offered a full refund, including return postage, and apologized for the mix-up. He did explain that the company has changed their packaging and that is why this happened. I was already aware of that, and that is part of the reason ordered these based on the images on Amazon (assuming maybe he still had stock of the old packaging). I did suggest maybe he should change the images on his posting to reflect the new packaging. In any case, I do not believe that there was any intentional deception, and I really appreciate the prompt response and more than amicable offer to resolve the situation. I have updated my review to 4 stars and am likely to use this seller again if they have an item I want/need. I can't give the 5th star because intentional or not, the pictures do not accurately represent the shipped product.Original Review -- Ink cartridges are fine, but did not come in the Bakelite tube as described and shown on the product page, they arrived in a basic Visconti box. That container is the only reason I placed this order. I could have gotten the ink cartridges in a box from my normal go to retailer for ink, but was excited to get this storage "tube" with the cartridges.Very disappointed that they were not packaged as advertised.

I have previously only used bottled ink rather than cartridges other than on a cheap Lamy pen but thought I would give these a go with my Visconti pen. Well personally I found them to be a lovely blue, the ink has flowed well and is very crisp and solid. The cartridges themselves are a normal size think back to your school days and the small cartridges you had and you get the idea don't expect those big Lamy style cartridges as otherwise you will be disappointed. A pack of seven of these however is a decent price so I am happy.

These are not the 7 cartridges in a bakelite tube as shown and advertised. Just a generic cardboard box. More very dodgy advertising from Amazon suppliers, in this case Pilotfish Pens, and so 50% over-priced as they are not in the container as advertised compared to the cheap cardboard box. Avoid.

I find Visconti inks to be high quality and flow well. This blue is a satisfying deep blue colour - very classy!Only down-side is the cartridge size is 1/2 normal size, which wasn't clear from the web page, so I feel rather cheated.
