LG 27MD5KL-B 27 Inch (68.5cm) Ultrafine 5K (5120 x 2880) Pixels IPS Display with macOS Compatibility, DCI-P3 99% Color Gamut and Thunderbolt 3 Port, Black

This is my second LG Ultrafine 5k monitor.Premium product, hence not a best value for money.5k resolution on 27-inch gives it a very high pixel density giving it "retina" display quality.For Apple devices, in terms of quality, this is second only to Apple's 6k XDR display and 5k studio display.Single Thunderbolt cable giving power and data connectivity to Macbook.In India, it came with a large power plug usually reserved for high watt appliances, which does not does into regular socket.It comes with USB-C cable for connecting older (1st and 2ng) gen iPad Pro. (Newer works on thunderbolts cable).It would have been perfect if it had:1. Some full sized USB ports2. ethernet / LAN port3. 140 watts instead of 96 watts for latest (2021+) 16-inch Macbook pros.

The monitor does ship with a Thunderbolt and a USB-C cable each (I had difficulty figuring out from the packaging/manuals if this is the case). Initially I had to unplug and replug the monitor to my 16" MBP 2019 a few times every time I'd see a vertical fuzzy bar in the centre of the LG monitor but no problems in the past few weeks (maybe it was due to other cable interference). Other than that, I use this monitor for work, videoconferencing, etc. and I am very happy with it.

Best display ever.. available still in 2021 market..in this price range For MAC, I m using it with my M1 pro book, the thunderbolt 3 cable came with the monitor is working fine with the thunderbolt 4 port in mac book.. yes, the build quality might hv been improved.. but rest is the best if we compare with the existing ones.

If you are looking to buy a Mac, would highly recommend a Mac Mini paired with this LG 27” 5K monitor. Super product quality.

Plug and play compatibility with Mac. Highly recommend it for mac users. The speakers are just ok, not great.

Awesome display. A bit pricey though.Downside is that you cannot use it with a Windows machine.

I got this monitor from my employer thanks to the pandemic.. (I have to return it back though :( ). The screen is absolutely gorgeous, and very crisp. I do coding, so its extra capabilities are wasted on me, and a monitor that is 1/4 the price, will still be good enough for what I do, But thank you ***** Inc.Other than what others have mentioned, It has also has a great webcam, the finest I have ever seen. For the price though, I dont know why they have not provided HDMI ports. There are only USB-C (thunderbolt) ports.. and Only one of them can accept a "Input Source". So it cannot be connected to most of the older machines. I tried this on my wifes work PC, it does not work, so I think it is only for MAC's.The bezels are thick on the side, but that shouldnt be a issue, unless you are setting another monitor next to it, and the image is spanning across monitors..The monitor stand is weighted, so it is very stable.

Great for mac for compatibility. High price for high quality.
