Fits just like original. Seems great quality. I use my pellet grill multiple times a week and do long cooks and hasn’t warped like the original Traeger.

Baffle works great. It's a bit too large for pitboss 440D2. I had to bend the legs in more than 45 degrees and bend the upper rims flat. After all that it fits and works perfectly. Would buy again!

Upon initial installation this diffuser didn’t fit under my Pit Boss’ heat shield. After some trimming with my angle grinder, it fits! On the plus side, it is made from some pretty sturdy material though.

Bought this hoping to make it work with the Pot Boss 456 (budget pellet smoker).Took a hammer, flattened the lip, bent the legs in and bowed it a bit till it fit how I wanted.Still getting the sweet spot, cause ya slide it flush with the side of the grill, left cools off, slide it too far right, left side overheats. But as you can see in pics, a LITTLE gap on the left and temps are pretty dang consistent, and if you have a PB 456 you know that's a constant issue, if not one of the only.

Fit my timberline xl perfectly. Old one was warped. Done 10-15 smokes with it since purchase and had done the job famously.

These knock-offs would list what Pit Bosses they are compatible with so they don't waste our time. This is way to big for my compact pro 600 smoker. Sure some people have the tools to modify them but not all of us do.

This is heavy duty and quality built, much nicer than the factory built piece and WAY cheaper. Its worth every penny.

So now that I’ve used it on my Pit Boss 1100, I can soundly say it will not fit correctly if you just insert it in there. The original drip tray is rounded so it’ll sit on top of the diffuser and could interfere with the cook drippings. I bent the stands in by pressing it into concrete, it’s sturdy, but it still warped under the heat. To not bend in the diffuser for the pit boss, you’ll have to buy a flat drip pan replacement. It definitely eliminated my center hot spot design flaw and made the left side of my smoker the leveled side, the center about 25 under the set dial, and the right side 40-50 under the set dial, not perfect, but better than it was before, just got to use the zones to your advantage. I would recommend it to others who have a pit boss.

Thicker gauge metal , should last longer.

Works as intended. Heavy duty steel.Was too large for my smoker. Had to cut off 4 inches. Used a 4.5 inch circ saw with a reinforced fibre blade.Installed a threaded rod to be able to slide it out of the way.

You’ll need to remove the useless defuser pot under the drip tray and a little persuasion to bend the legs inward to fit properly for clearance.

Much heavier/thicker than the original. Fits perfectly
