Toko Scraper Sharpener

This is the perfect addition for a ski/snowboard tuning kit! I kept buying new scrapers until I found this.Plastic scrapers wear out quickly, but that also means this simple hand tool can quickly restore a sharp edge.It uses ceramic blades that cut the plastic like butter in one sweep.

I cringed at paying over $30 dollars for a plexiglass scraper when it seemed a file or sandpaper and a block of wood would do the same thing. Wrong. Two swipes through this baby and you are back to making wax fly. Plus it is going to last until your buddy borrows it and doesn't give it back.

Multiple width scrapers available. Works ok. You should still square the scraper with a file. This is ok at keeping a scraper sharp for a few tunes.

I didn't even know this was a thing until someone mentioned it on a discussion board. I've had a few scrapers in my tuning bag for years that were dull and didn't do a good job. Not anymore!This makes your scraper work like new. While not cheap, you get your $8 scraper back in like new condition and in the end, you will be saving money on all the scrapers you aren't going to buy. Well worth it.

This is an excellent scraper sharpener if portability is your priority. It is very quick, effective and very easy to use.However, for the price, I prefer the larger Toko (or Swix, they're exactly the same) World Cup sharpeners. They do a better job holding a scraper square, especially longer scrapers like a snowboard scraper. They also have user replaceable sharpening stones, (should you ever need to replace one).

Works well with my Burton triangle shaped scrapers.

Product works well but it was damaged when received with the yellow insert already starting to detach from the body of the tool. If it was cosmetic it would be fine but it keeps catching on to the scraper as you sharpen. Pity.

Why did I buy this? I don't know but it works. It says it in the name! My wax scrapers are sharp and they scrape off the excess wax on my skis easily and evenly. Is there another way to sharpen your scraper? I suppose but these do perform as advertised. Just a bit pricey.

Keine Ahnung, was ich da für ein Teil erhalten habe, aber bei mir waren keinerlei "Schärfkanten" in den Aussparungen. Da konnte man alles durchziehen und nix ist passiert. Ich vermute eine Fehlproduktion. Ging so sofort zurück.

Jeder, der seine Ski zu Hause selber pflegt kennt das Problem: Nach einigen Services wird die Plexiglas-Abziehklinge stumpf. Mit diesem Sharpener werden sie im Nu wieder scharf. Funktioniert für dicke und dünne Klingen. Super Sache, die die Umwelt und die Geldbörse langfristig schon!

Darf nicht in der Werkbank fehlen!
