Fit my stack perfectly. My stack has a bit of a rim a few inches down that this cap sits nicely on. Very snug, but I added a couple of stainless machine screws anyway. I like the gasket as well. Better protection against rain in the stack. No caulking needed..and no more birds!

Good to have so you don't start a fire

The cover does not look like the description but it works fine.It is shorter than the picture. It fit fine inside the pipe tight. We have high winds so I put a screw through the pipe and cover to keep it in place. Also painted it black to match the pipe and absorb heat from the sun hoping to keep it from freezing. I would recommend the vent cover

Good construction & easy to install.

Installed. Don't see how it will keep rain out with such a small cap. Not as pictured. Cap should be at least twice the diameter of the pipe. Side blowing rain will definitely blow in. Will update failure when I get it.

I bought this after needing a chimney cap for a wood burning furnace. It was 6” ducting. Once it arrived u was skeptical if it would fit properly but as soon as I climbed up on the roof and inserted it, it fit tight and snug. Exactly what I needed, perfect fit!
