This product works
We have huge hurricane windows and live on the 2nd floor. I was skeptical of purchasing this product after reading some of the reviews, but decided to purchase it anyway. I watched the instructional video a few times to familiarize myself on how to use it so I was ready when the product arrived.Product works great and we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this product.

Don't listen to the haters
I can't stop looking out my clean windows. I saw reviews about unclear instructions but I was able to unpack this and go on the windows in my 11th floor apartment in an NYC high-rise. Just like the multiple videos I saw on youtube before I bought this, I dabbed a little bit of dishwashing liquid, doused in warm water and went to town. You soap up windows with a sideward stroke and then go in U shape stroke to squeegee and get clear window. Magnet setting was easy to figure out, you start at 1 setting, put two components in place on each side and then dial up. I have 1.25 inch double pane windows and level 4 magnet setting worked perfect. Tie rope around your wrist before you start. There was one point where I made a quick turn and pulled away from window causing other side to fall where I was able to quickly pull back in with the rope. For before and after comparison, I added a picture of the window in my son's room which I haven't washed yet.

Why I say don't buy
The product has 4 levels that you can choose from when gripping to window. If your windows all our super thick the product works fine. The issue happens when you attach the product to a window that is not as thick and you only need level one or two. I switched to level two only twice. When I switched to level two a few minutes into cleaning the window the product switched to 4. The fist time it happen, I thought well I will try it one more time. Now when the product is attached to the window you can't switch it to a lower level it's locked. On a thinner window it took me twenty minutes with all my muscles to pull the magnet off the window. I felt like the window was going to break. Now most people would say I am very strong. Well I was in a deep sweat trying to get this product off the window. This product has a flaw that the product needs fixed.

Very helpful for cleaning 3rd floor apartment windows
I moved into a 100+ year old building and I'm pretty sure the windows had never been cleaned. Or at least, they were so dirty it felt that way. I got the KOKITEA Double-Sided Window Cleaner Glass Wiper pretty skeptical that it was actually going to work- but it does a decent job! It's a little hard to get the swiping motion down, there's a certain figure 8 strategy that works the best, took awhile to figure that out. The string that you put around your wrist is helpful because the magnets do sometimes come apart! So that helps ensure you don't hit someone on the head down below. The reason I didn't give 5 stars- it's hard to get the windows perfectly clean, the tool will leave streaks, even though it is still much cleaner than when I started. Also those magnets are REALLY powerful- be careful!

It works!
This product works! In the 2+ years I lived here, I had never cleaned the outside of my windows (I live on the second floor). This product was easy to use and did the job. I ordered the ones for extra thick windows to be safe. There seems to be a bit of a technique to get the windows clean and avoid streaks. Still mastering that, but overall, I’d definitely recommend this product.

Does only a okay job of cleaning the windows
We have several large windows and/or windows that are hard to access from the outside. So, I thought this would be a better solution than trying to reach them with a ladder or reach around from the inside.I used the recommended mixture of water, vinegar, and dish soap as my solution and cleaned several windows. For the most part, it manages to get most of the dirt off the window. However, it does not leave the window 'crystal clear.' We ended with streaks and blotches on the window. Another issue is how you finish the window, you are going to end up with a 4x4" splotch from where you remove the pads. So, in the end, you have to wipe down the window to remove excess solution.Apart from the ability to clean the exterior of hard to reach windows, I cannot say it does a better job, is easier, or is faster than just using other methods for cleaning windows.EDIT - After putting these away for the winter, I pulled them out to use to clean my windows. Over their months of storage the magnets have become weakened and the squeegee part become brittle and cracked. They are basically useless. Now, if I try to use them, even at full strength (on my double pane windows), the outside piece falls off almost immediately. And, the cracked squeegee means it doesn't remove the cleaning solution as cleanly. They are going in the trash.

Saves on time and effort
I have a screen porch that has 24- 3' x3' windows. The screens do not come out. They are pretty heavy and awkward. I would have to take each window out, clean it and struggle again to put it back. Then there are 2 double patio doors and large, ceiling to floor front room windows that are all personally decorated, high and low, by our 2 dogs. I did worry that the cleaner might not fit in the space between the screen and the window facing outward, but it was perfect. I didn't have to scrub the nose prints off and the dirt was gone in one sweep. I used a little Dawn in the water but next time I'm going to add some vinegar. Another plus was that I didn't have to move the furniture to take the windows out. Just start in one corner and work your way down. It took me 2 hours (with breaks) instead of 2 days to do all the windows on the porch. I am so happy I got it.

Rope is useless
Rope broke on first use. The exterior cleaner fell and the rope broke immediately. It almost hit a someone in the curbside. I'm returning it. What's the point of a rope that can't support the weight of the product?

It has done a good job of cleaning my windows so far
It cleans my (double-glazed) windows inside and out. Previously cleaning the outside was extremely difficult and left unsightly smears. With this with a bit of skill, any smearing is much less noticeable even with the sun shining on it. Any smearing there is tends mostly to be at the edge of the window where I can easily reach and wipe manually. There are five setting to set the strength of the magnetic pull between the two halves, when they are in place. There is also a metal cord with which to secure the outside part of the device to something, so it does not just fall down to the ground if the megnetic pull were to fail to hold.

Doesn’t work
Shocked to see how much this has gone up since I bought mine in January. I’ve got round to using it for the first time today and it doesn’t work drops off scratches paint work as a result. Don’t waste your money. Irks me to think that I bought this and it’s now going to go into waste.I I live in a flat on a higher floor and it’s hard to access some of the windows so I thought this might be my answer. Instead a waste of money.
