Roomba, this vendor is FAST!!

This is my second time ordering a knock off brand filter for my Roomba. I’d rather change a filter more often and for this price, it’s easy. I notice no difference between this brand and the Roomba original.

I am happy with my 800 series Roomba. It cleans better than any vacuum I've ever used. And to keep it working efficiently, I replace the filter when it's so dirty that the brush still leaves it discolored. In other words, I put a new one in, and it's all white. Then, as I vacuum, I use the brush to clean the filter when I empty the dust bin. The filter isn't as white as when it was new and starts to turn brownish grey. When the shade of brownish grey is the same as the dirt I'm brushing out, I know that filter is shot. I buy a dozen or so of these at a time and when I'm down to 2-4 I place another order.Don't be cheap. Keep a stock on hand and replace these and you'll be glad you did.

I almost returned these without trying them when I saw they have a screen over the filter. I'm glad I tried them 1st. I was cleaning the filter out with a toothbrush after almost each room the Roomba cleaned because they filled up so quickly, & that was really time consuming, as well as uncomfortable, requiring me to work longer squatting or sitting on the floor. Now I get to skip that step. All the dust-like pieces that were getting clogged in the filter are now in the bin.I still have to spend a lot of time crouched on the floor, removing our hair from the Roomba, but at least now I don't have to clean gunk out of the filters too, so that's a little less time crouched on the floor, getting the Roomba ready to clean the next rooms.I'll never go back to the filters that came with the Roomba.

You will need to firmly press down on the filter door until you hear a click. These fit a little more snug, but definitely are identical. I have a Roomba 960.

It's obviously a lesser quality hepa filter compared to iRobot's, but given the cost savings it might be worth it. I still have to test it out. I would love to see some significant testing regarding each kind of iRobot filter. It feels like we're all in the dark here - just guessing which is best.A test with:% filter rate vs. micro sizepressure drop across the roomba per filter (assuming this affects battery life and motor wear)I will note, I feel most all HEPA filters for the roomba only go down to approx. 10 microns. I always have to run an air filter on high while the roomba runs if I'm home. Much different than an upright vacuum. Still, love the roomba and wouldn't trade it for anything. And the 10 microns is just a gut feeling. I haven't done any testing. Hope someone has and can inform me.

My IRobot reads it as an error, but will still function. I really don’t know why.

I really didn't want to spend the Roomba prices for a new filter that would need to be changed quite frequently so I gave this a shot. The value of what you get for your money when compared to the genuine replacement is crazy good. They fit well.I have noticed there are some performance issues which may result in needing to change the filter more frequently. These filters have a very fine mesh ontop of the filter itself. This mesh quickly clogs up with fine dust and then the suction on the machine isn't great. I have had multiple times where the suction seems to be so poor it gets clogged in the rubber rollers and doesn't make it to the bin. I think this just means I need to change the filter substantially more often.When you compare how often this will need to be changed vs. the fact that I ran my Roomba filter FOREVER.... It might equal about the same amount in the end.I haven't tried removing the fine mesh filter, perhaps it would extend the life and increase suction. If I attempt it I will update here.
