A handy device
The fact that it can be hung or stood inside the oven makes it very convenient to use. The temperature measurement is accurate and sensitive to even slight changes of the oven knob. I realised that my oven’s heat setting was off by close to 5 degrees, so this thermometer was much-needed for sensitive bakes.I wish the base was a bit heavier, so it wouldn’t get knocked over easily. While pushing a baking tray into the oven, the thermometer inevitably topples over. Since I want to shut the door quickly and it’s quite fiddly to pick up with oven gloves on, I also wish it had a heat-proof handle.
