quick shipping and fit was good
Have installed the sight on my SKS and installation went fine with no problem -- sighting was no problem - start at 25 or so yards to get on paper. The only problem is were it is mounted on the SKS as the rear dust cover is on most of these rifles do have a certain amount of slack in them which is not the sight's problem. I bought the sight for my SKS as a carry rifle on my atv for the occasion coyote, coon, skunk, etc. that "pops" of on ditch/field riding. With some trial and error of the sighting process it will be working accurately enough for the job intended -- it is not intended for "tack driving" -- seems to be made of quality materials and rugged enough to take the atv mount.

Worked great .
Stuck it on my Bubba Chinese SKS. Had to cut on my Tapco stock but it was worth it.

but best and most stable aftermarket sight for the SKS
Pricey, but best and most stable aftermarket sight for the SKS, far better choice than receiver cover mounted scopes. Particularly like the low profile and long sighting radius it affords - only way to go

The aperture is EXTREMELY SMALL!!!
The sight and mounting system work fine. However the aperture you look through is extremely small! It gets the job done but with how small the aperture is it's only slightly better than factory sights.

Works
I've been holding off on reviewing this till I got to test it at the range.Pros:Peep sight is good for people with bad eyes, like me. I'm normally short sighted but when I look through the peep sight I can actually see almost as good as with my glasses on.The sight lends itself to natural repeatability. You will get much better groups with this, I know I did.It does go back to zero when you take it off and put it back on.Cons:I got it because of my bad eyes. Unfortunately my single focus glasses don't let me see the ring at all. Its just a black fuzzy see through blob. So until I get better glasses I have to take my glasses off to shoot. Which kinda defeats the purpose..Also I lost the little end cap for the crossbolt. That was a big mistake. Without that the crossbolt WILL loosen up after every 10 shots or so. I used some loctite and I hope it holds. Tech Sight's sight doesn't have a replacement part listed on their site.So the cons are mostly personal problems. The Sight itself works great. Pair it with a williams firesight front sight for best effect.

I never recommend anyone put aftermarket "bubba" crap on their SKS
Improved my shooting immensely, I never recommend anyone put aftermarket "bubba" crap on their SKS, this definitely isn't that. Solid piece, the hardest part was removing the original sight, check youtube for some tutorials. Also required that I carve about 1-2mm of wood out of the stock for a proper fit.The adjustments are super easy to use, a small screwdriver or punch or even a paperclip will work to depress the detents.
