So I didn't leave a review when I first got this product as I didn't wanna leave a review on its looks and build quality or packaging quality etc. All of these things were perfect. I wanted to leave a review after I had finished a growing season and started a new one. The reason for this is obvious, how does it hold up and what were my results like? On first impressions, this looks and feels like a quality product that also has good quality packaging. In the box there were instructions and mounting equipment. Straight out of the box, I was in love, it had that kind of weight to it that makes it feel quality and the mounting equipment gave me confidence that it would not waiver. The dial for controlling the intensity was also very good and felt smooth. Set up was easy and after watching a few videos on what intensity was recommended for my plants, I was off to the races. I had a small 60 x 60 x 120cm grow tent that this was fitted into and you can see the results I had from growing chilli peppers and peppers. Sun loving plants that also require copious amounts of heat. My main draw to this grow light vs competition - no fans, no noise. The reason for this was that it was going in a tent in a room that was used. Not a spare room that no one frequented etc. The room was used as an office that was worked in 9-5 five days a week - so it had to be quiet. Was it quiet? Yes, no noise other than maybe a small electrical buzz that only came about once it was over ~50% intensity but this wasn't an issue as I never went that high. I also had fans in the tent that nigated any noise from the light. Longevity - I had this in operation for the first few weeks/months for about 12 hours on and 12 hours off and slowly ramped it up to about 18 hours and 6 hours off. This was for about 4 months. I've now started using it again in the new '23 growing season and it has stored well and worked just the same for the past few weeks. I am/was a complete novice at growing indoors under growlights last year and the simple nature of this grow lamp and the fact that it "just worked" out the box, made my grow season in '22, the most successful I've ever had. I've attached a few pics of the young chilli plants I grew and you can see from the foliage that they were a lovely dark green and all looked very healthy. Some leaf curl that came from improper ventilation etc but nothing due to the grow light. Again, big benefit is no fans and no noise, this is what drew me to this product but the quality is what will make me a life long customer. Nothing to complain about and a lot to shout about. If this product is in your budget, stop thinking and just get it. It won't let you down and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how well it works.

A good quality light which works well, runs cooler than others I've tried which is great. Easy to use and install, just keep those instructions handy for the adjustment of light intensity.

runs nice and cool great for 1 flower not really powerful enough for more than 2 plants i’d say

Bought for some little bulbs my Daughter had planted as the weather wasn't right to put them outside at the time. Great product

Very happy with this light, the ppfd is as per the maps (measured with my meter) & growth under it using a DWC system has been impressive. Very little heat meaning vetilation fans can be run at low speed with less noise & coverage has been superb & fairly even over a 75 x 150 x 180cm tent.

Great and bright lamp but they don’t come with hanging wires and just the ropes so look messy.

Firstly I think it's worth mentioning, that one of the red LEDs is an IR and appears dimmer than the rest. This is normal. I have two of these lights and they are both the same, when you check the IR is actually a double cell. I was only using the one light at the time and assumed it was a fault. Viparspectra responded to my message within hours which is good to know. The lights are powerful and seem to give good vegetative growth so far. Basil is growing super fast, and chillis are now putting out flowers. Both have only been under the lights for 10 days so it's early but everything I am seeing is good so far. I'll be starting more chillis, peppers and tomatoes under these lights to get the start on the season before moving them outside when frost risk has gone. I'll also use them for hydroponic herbs and salads through the winter my only unknown is the longevity of the leds, but I don't grow anything 'medicinal' so they aren't used 12 months of the year. If they were I might have contemplated paying the extra for the new XS which has Samsung Leds and a well known brand of ballast. Either way I wish Viparspectra well with their brand development and bringing some good competition to the reasonably priced side of the hydroponics lighting market.
