I have a 12 year old golden who was diagnosed with Mild age related vision loss at age 11. Falling down the stairs at night, missing trying to jump up to beds. I started leaving on lights for her making adjustments. I tried getting her a more expensive vision supplement that she just would not eat even if i begged her. These she will take willingly (not eagerly, but she will take it like a treat without spitting it to the ground) I wasn't sure if they were helping after the first bag but i did feel like she wasn't getting worse. Just a little bit into bag two, she caught a treat. I was throwing them at the puppies, she popped over and caught one, which she hadn't done in about 8 months. We're almost done bag 2 she's catching bees in the air again!! So far only bees. She LOVES bees. When i adopted her i quickly found out she was immune to bee stings. She does a hop skip and a jump up to catch them. It's amazing to see it was only her vision stopping her. She's also getting up on beds at night alone in the dark again!! I don't give them to her everyday. She had liver issues in the past, so we do every other day. I've had dogs at worse stages of vision loss and i don't know how much this would have done for them. But if your dog is in the very beginning stages of losing their vision i hope this really helps them like it helped my girl!! I definitely recommend sticking it out and finishing 2 bags.

My 16 year old dog LOVED these! A little pricey but worth it. He enjoyed every one and when i grabbed that bag, he was right there to get a yummy treat!

Dog loves it though she eats anything. She's 11 getting slow. She's looking better since I've been giving her these but she gets 3 pills and lately they are coming out like the picture. In crumbles. I don't know if I'm giving her too much or too little. Wish it was a stronger container.

I have two small senior dogs - one is 9 and one is 15. I have always found VetriScience products to high quality and produce results. My 9 year old has anxiety from his former life with a dog hoarder. Normally we use Adaptil collars to help manage it, but this summer his allergies were particularly bad and caused him to cough when wearing the collar so we needed to find something else. That's when I found this newly released product and thought I would give it a try. It's been a number of weeks now and I am definitely seeing result. My dog is just as calm as he would be if he was wearing an Adaptil collar and most certainly calmer than when he's untreated. In regards to my 15 year old pup, we've been struggling with some health issues lately that have made it harder to see if the supplement is working. That said, one of the health issues has been chronic and a flare-up is painful. Normally, he is quite vocal about that pain and let's us know when we've touched him in a way he doesn't like. However, when we were at a recent recheck vet appointment, I was quite surprised when the vet told me that my poor old guy was quite painful all the way down his spine, but had been very well behaved during his appointment. He usually requires the tiniest of muzzles when he's that sore. Although I can't prove it completely, the only change made to his medication and supplements was this product. Although n=2 is not a large sample size, I think that you can't go wrong with at least trying out a bag of this supplement. My dogs loves the taste, they seem to be benefitting from it and VetriScience is a solid company with a history of making quality products. Don't expect results overnight though. As with most supplements, it will take a 2-4 weeks to see results. One final note: if you have a dog 15lbs or less, I would break the treat in half and use 1/2 daily. The 1 treat/day instruction is for 30lbs or less, but I have little 10 pounders and that seems like far too much product for such little guys. I have found the results above using 1/2 treat daily/dog.

My 17yr old pit mix was really showing her age. Cognitive problems, had problems walking, no appetite and I was close to making that decision that no one wants to make. I thought I would try this product as a hail Mary sort of thing but I was so surprised. Within just a few days of giving one in the morning and one at night she has her appetite back, she is actually prancing with her tail up and her eyes have that spark back in them! Thank you for giving my dog back her love of life. I will say that you should not give them 2 at once like I did at first because she was zoned out but once I broke it up to am and pm it made all the difference in the world.

I got these clear and bright eye treats for my geriatric 16 year old Yorkie, who's eyes are getting cloudy. I've been giving these golden years treats to Nikki for over a month and her eyes don't seem to be getting worse they're fairly consistent with her age. Shes a very mobile senior girl, we go for long 1 mile walks in the evening (usually around 7, bc it's not full sun) and she sees well, she hasn't walked into anything on our walks. On occasion she has turned too quickly and ran into a table but that's super rare so I'd definitely say the golden years treats are helping. They're small soft treats and Nikk seems to love them even with her sensitive stomach. I was just waiting for her to get the fluffy butt poop runs from it and that never happened. I'd take a video of me giving her one but if you've ever seen the movie jaws it's kinda like that (she's just a small Yorkie girl who loves her treats, running and jumping into the treat).

Horrible! Gave to my 13 year old frenchie and hours later got horrible diarrhea and is in critical condition now. Don’t get these . Doesn’t even deserve one star.
