Green peppercorns have an aroma that is out of this world. I am just starting to learn the many ways to use it. I am buying more of it for my friends. They typically think the only peppercorn is the black peppercorn. I am educating them. Yes, I strongly recommend this product and I am bringing in more customers.

Very fresh, the packaging was flawless and it arrived in perfect condition. The spice is well pronounced and it has a robust flavor profile, it's some of the best szechuan I've had.

These have a great floral citrusy smell to them when you open the bag, and I tried a few to see how they tasted. it was regrettable and amazing at the same time! Definitely left my mouth numb as I tried a few too many :). These are great quality and flavor. I'll definitely order again when I run out.

They are hot but not in way I expected. I could eat bowl after bowl of Sichuan chicken but be prepared to feel a little like you went to dentist and had novacaine. Also read they are a phototoxin so they can make one more sensitive to the sun. None the less oriental dishes using them are delish!

These were very good Szechuan "peppercorns", and the green ones were new to me.I feel impelled to add some info based upon another review complaining about all-husks-and-no-peppercorns lest others be similarly confused.Szechuan peppercorns are not pepper -- we just call them that. Sort of like chilis are not pepper. Botanically, they're related to citrus.What you use in cooking is the pericarp of the fruit (the 'husk' thing). That has the flavor magic. Not the hard black stony seed inside. That is flavorless and eating it is like chomping on very hard grit. Sort of like saying 'I ordered some dried peaches, but there were no pits! Just fruits!". Indeed, one of the hassles of Szechuan pepper is sifting through and discarding any seeds, so if one got a bag full of 'only husks' then that is a happy day indeed!This review system unfortunately does not permit direct replies, however, so alas that person might never know of the good thing that they got.

Very good product for the price

I ordered these to make a chili crisp and all I have to say is WOW. The peppercorns are so fresh and have an amazing numbing and tingling sensation to it. I highly recommend.
