I bought the one with the green strap. It’s perfect for running or traveling alone. Secures nicely around different parts of your arm and velcros on and off for easy access but will stay secure on arm. Always keep in mind that these cans expire every few years, always replace for maximum performance.

This product might be great for runners, but I had to modify it with adjustable straps from MODL to make this an easily accessible product for cyclists. A collab might benefit both companies and open up a larger market. Also; feel free to hire me for more innovative ideas on commission.

I've used Sabre products both as a security guard and as a private citizen. When it comes to pepper spray in general, you get what you pay for. The problem with using those small no-name pepper spray cannisters is that they're not replaced often enough and become less effective over a couple of years. Pepper spray is usually they're thrown into a purse or backpack where they'll do you no good. Pepper sprays can also blow back into your eyes if you're not upwind or if there's a moderate breeze. They also aren't safe to deploy in small spaces, like in a room or in a car, bus or subway train. Sabre products has among the strongest percentage of capsicum of other similar products. It has a UV dye to help law enforcement identify the perpetrators by simply shining a black light causing the invisible UV dye to shine blue. The dye will last for days on the perpetrators face so they can be caught several days after the incident. Gel is safer. Pepper gel spray is easier to control. With Capsicum gel, you don't have to worry about wind blow back. Although not advised, pepper gel is better to use in smaller spaces and won't accidentally target individuals that you didnt intend to spray. I like the flashing arm band, so I'm easier to spot by vehicles. I also like the option to hold it in my hand with the elastic and velcro wrist band.

I tested this out using a tree as the target. It really is a fine powerful spray with some splash-back, obviously need to be relatively accurate with it. I passed it over so my daughter could try. We both agreed on targeting and aim. The stream, yellow, is easy to see. Then we noticed the liquid was dripping down over her fingers. We quickly got a hosepipe and rinsed off her hand within a couple of minutes. Then, and later there was NO sensation or discomfort. This was purchased because of a serious dog attack while running and receiving multiple bites. Can I have confidence in this product after this experience? I will do another test on my own skin but I would be interested in other peoples opinions. 24 hrs after this review. I sprayed the product, dipped a finger in it and applied to the back of my hand. There was no sensation of anything to the finger or the back of the other hand.

It fell off the armband as I was walking sometime during a 5 minute period. I was not even running, and this is supposed to stay on for runners. I'm sure the pepper spray itself is fine, and if you use the band for it's light up feature while you are out in the dark it's fine. But they do not really work together since you are likely to lose the pepper spray and not even notice :/

This product didn’t come with the pepper spray. Just the arm band. It won’t allow me to return it so I apparently bought just an arm band
