Arrived well parcelled and the component parts were assembled with reasonable ease - a little juggling was required and clamps helped to align two or three joints. Two coats of teak oil brought out the rich colour of the wood as well as weather proofing. It is now an admired and useful addition to our garden.One point I am not sure about. Four of the screw end fixings are heavily plated with a gold finish, but they are ferrous and I do not know whether they are liable to rust eventually or manufactured of low grade stainless steel which should be good against deterioration, time will tell.Overall, excellent value for money

This is a gem of a seat. We needed a small bench for our porch and this was the perfect solution.Easy to assemble though we did have an extra screw but no allen key! No problem many Ikea flat packs over the years supplied one!The finish is good and sturdy and comfortable to sit on. We now have a lovely seat to sit on.

I'd read the reviews, so I was disappointed but not surprised, when my bench arrived with the same "damage" as that seen by other reviewers: splitting, or "shake", at the point where the seat slots into the arms.After a bit of internal debate, I decided to keep the bench, thinking that I would add a metal bracket to support the join, if I thought it needed it.And now for the good news: the bench arrived in a large box, in just four pieces. No fiddly assembly: it was almost literally "put tab A into slot B" then slip in six allen-key bolts (tool kindly supplied) and then - the intelligence test - insert 5 screws. 6 were supplied, which threw me at first, until I realised that there was one spare....I took the time to sand down all the pieces before assembly, and it was well worth the small effort, because there were just a few rough splintery edges, some of which were - of course - on the seat section. When I say "sand down", I just rubbed a piece of sandpaper over any areas that felt a bit rough, it took about ten minutes. Generally, the finish was very good. Apart from that damaged joint, of course.Then I applied a coat of linseed oil (couldn't find my teak oil), and left the pieces to dry for a couple of days.At last, it was time to carry the pieces round to the back garden, and assemble it. Took me ten minutes, and that includes four minutes of scratching my head and trying to work out where the screws went. In the end, I just poked the screwdriver (not supplied) into every hole I could find, underneath the bench, until I found some with no screws in: if I'd just thought about it logically, I could have predicted they were used to secure the "tabs".And then I sat on it.It was lovely.The overall quality (apart from that joint) is very good: the timber is chunky, and colourful: the attention to detail is very good, the arms have a lovely curve on them, the ends are rounded beautifully, the seat slats have a slight curve to them: all in all, a lot better than I had expected for the price.I almost feel that these are expensive seats, which failed the QC check, and are therefore being sold off, cheap.As someone else mentioned, the back of the seat is VERY upright, which makes it a bit uncomfy, but a cushion or two will soon sort that out.Now, all I need are some warm sunny evenings, so that I can sit out, on it!

When I checked the bolts against the instructions, I thought they had sent me the wrong ones. However, on the instructions the 6 long bolts are the 'B' bolts and the 4 medium bolts are the 'A' bolts, they just got them the wrong way round. Once I had sussed that, I put the bench together in about 15 minutes (12 bolts and 6 screws in total). It's sturdy, good quality and far cheaper that most teak benches, even adding in the cost of some teak oil (next job). Happy days.

This bench arrived faster than advised and was well packaged. Easy enough to assemble and appears to be well made. Very sturdy when put together and looks like it will last a long time. Would advise a coat of teak oil to improve weather resistance and to give it a really nice finish.

The bench was easy to asemble, just had to use a small chisel to cut out excess wood in holes. Should of been done before dispatch but not a problem. Easy to put together but use a bigger stronger Allen key than one provided. Paint with linseed oil for lasting weather proof protection

This seat is easy to assemble. a nice quality sturdy construction. Easily seats 2 adults with room to spare.Prior to assembly I treated it with teak oil in every nook and cranny to ensure maximum longevity and will give it a rub over once a year, it only takes 10 minutes.

J'ai un peu hésité à le commander à cause de certains commentaires.Mais finalement ce banc est costaud et très très beau. Il a une belle finition multicouleurs, qui plait beaucoup. Plusieurs personnes m'ont demandé là ou je l'avais trouvé.Je n'ai pas eu de difficulté à le monter. Il n'y a que la tablette qui coince un peu (dure à sortir et rentrer).Je le recommande donc grandement sans réserve (hormis que j'aurai peut être pu le prendre en 150cm).

All'esterno di casa, sia sotto il portico come in giardino, abbiamo già alcuni mobili in teak, inclusa una PANCHINA da 120 cm sempre acquistata da Amazon circa 4 anni addietro, ma che è come nuova ed avendo necessità di una seconda panchina per un'altra zona del giardino, quando ho notato questa Chicreat mi ha incuriosito per le caratteristiche ed ho deciso di ordinarla.La panchina arriva in una voluminosa confezione di 26.5 kg di PESO e non appena rimossa dalla scatola ho potuto riscontrare una discreta QUALITA' progettuale e costruttiva che mi è piaciuta, sebbene devo ammettere che per un primo ordine ho dovuto chiedere la sostituzione, in quanto una gamba presentava una lunga lezione che poteva aprirsi ulteriormente con rischi strutturali.Si tratta di una PANCHINA in Teak, di 150 cm di LUNGHEZZA, una dimensione non eccessiva ma neppure delle più contenute, dato che della stessa tipologia esiste anche da 180 cm, ma anche 120 cm e 100 cm, ma il 150 cm per noi risultava quella ottimale per il suo posizionamento in giardino.Pur trattandosi di teak, ho riscontrato un LEGNO molto chiaro, NON TRATTATO e che necessitava subito di uno, due passaggi di OLIO PROTETTIVO, ovvero come per gli altri mobili esterni sulla panca è stato necessaria una prima "pennellata" accurata di OLIO per MOBILI di TEAK che il legno ha assorbito con una certa rapidità ed un successivo passaggio sulle parti del legno maggiormente esposto al sole ed alle intemperie.I TEMPI DI MONTAGGIO di questa panchina li ho trovati piuttosto rapidi, dato che è suddivisa in 4 PARTI, con 6 VITI principali per il bloccaggio dei laterali e 6 VITI più piccole e lunghe per bloccare al meglio la seduta allo schienale ed ai laterali.In fase di montaggio le PARTI hanno COMBACIATO egregiamente tra loro, senza difetti evidenti a conferma della bontà della lavorazione e se non fosse stato per un paio di fori delle viti inferiori che non erano completati e che quindi hanno richiesto una ulteriore rifinitura con una piccola punta di trapano, non sono necessari più di 10 MINUTI in due persone per avere la panca montata stabilmente, 15 MINUTI aggiungendo il tempo di rifinitura dei due fori, tempistica quindi assolutamente apprezzabile.Concluso il montaggio ed ultimata la protezione con olio, non posso che giudicare positivamente questa panchina in teak, che presenta un semplice quanto classico ed intramontabile DESIGN, che mi piace e guarda probabilmente più alla sostanza che ai fronzoli.Rispetto all'altra panchina in teak che acquistai sempre da Amazon, questa presenta dei braccioli meno prestanti e lavorati, ma comunque ben curati e risulta complessivamente equilibrata nelle sue dimensioni medio-grandi, con una SEDUTA su cui si sta comodi in tre persone.La panchina la trovo di discreta solidità, magari non priva di piccole imperfezioni dl tutto giustificabili dalla lavorazione artigianale ed un paio di micro fessure nel legno trascurabili, che andrò a trattare al momento giusto e complessivamente mi sento più che soddisfatto dell'acquisto.Trattandosi di un legno più giovane rispetto all'altra panca in teak che utilizziamo da oramai circa 4 anni, si percepiscono molto le differenze di tonalità del legno che in questa Chicreat risulta assai più chiaro, ma sono certo che dopo un annetto all'aperto, il sole e le piogge stagionali, con un altro trattamento di olio protettivo tenderanno ad allinearsi, anche se poco importa dato che la distanza tra le due è notevole.Mi sento quindi di promuovere questa Chicreat per le buone sensazioni che mi ha trasmesso, una panchina solida e veloce nel montaggio, con un buon rapporto prezzo/qualità, acquistata a maggio 2021 a 149.50 euro, un costo che ritengo equilibrato per le caratteristiche del prodotto.In quanto alla spedizione da parte di Amazon è state come sempre veloce e puntuale grazie al servizio Prime, con consegna anticipata rispetto alla data prevista.Piuttosto semplice è stata anche la procedura del reso della prima panchina ricevuta con un difetto sulla gamba, con l'unica particolarità che trattandosi di un imballo voluminoso ho dovuto organizzare io la spedizione con successivo rimborso di quanto pagato da parte di Amazon.Mi auguro che questa recensione possa esservi di aiuto e se avete dubbi o quesiti non esitate a chiedere.
