As embarrassing as this topic is, it saved me the first day wearing. My periods are not "clean." I bleed heavily at times and leak. These protected my outerwear and I bought more so I can be confident each month. I'm a 12/14 jeans and these were snug but not bad.

I suffer from heavy and long menstruation. So I went on a hunt looking for something that would help to give me extra cover especially when I am at work or out and about. The underwear arrived before the due date, the price was reasonable, I weight 110 and the small fits perfect. It does help a little and I will take any help to prevent the leakage. I still wear an extra heavy sanitary napkin on my heaviest days with this underwear.

Not quality. They were flimsy and I was told they were uncomfortable. Try the Antigen ones for your teen instead. They are seriously amazing. Wish they would have had them for when I was a teen!

XL was the size of a young child's waist band. Shipped directly from China. Chinese XL must mean American size 0 or something.
