I used this as a backsplash for my cooker and it blended in nicely with the white kitchen tiles. You hardly notice the silver colour. It was a little difficult cutting around the socket, I have a few wrinkles and air pockets which I tried to use my hair drier to flaten but that didn't work. I still have lots of roll paper left, so I have the option of installing again but I'm happy with it as it is

Very easy to apply and a great product

This would of had 5 stars accept the glue isn’t as strong as it should be, it peels away from curved edges even after being heated. This is a great product! I used it in my caravan to update the aweful baby pop brown wood effect in the van! That honey coloured wood is not my jam! The fridge unit was easy to do I just removed the panels from the fridge, covered them and put them back, giving it that aluminium fridge look. I have had so many comments about my units, and I’m chuffed with the finish. The stuff itself is a plastic type but looks like brushed aluminium, it has a high shine and is wipe clean. Be careful not to use anything to smooth it out, directly into the surface as it will scratch the covering, I used a ikea card with a micro cloth over it to remove all the bubbles and smith out. I plan to apply this to a full size fridge freezer next (after the red oxide has dried, as removed the rust areas) All in all a great product well worth both the effort and the money.

If you want to cover a perfectly smooth surface to make it silver, then this is a good product to try. If your surface has any flaws or is textured, you’re likely to end up with what looks like cheap crumpled baking foil stuck on it.

Really nice product. Cleaned up this camper door where the plastic panels had yellowed over the years. Looks great now. Easy to install, used a vinyl wrap smoothing tool and xacto knife to trim off the excess. Good adherence! Highly recommend

I covered an old beat up chest freezer using this stainless steel contact paper and it looks really nice as compared to what it did look like!! This paper was fairly easy to work with and I was able to apply, remove and reapply fairly easily. This contact paper is really strong/tough paper. I would highly recommend. I've used this on an older file cabinet as well and worked great and looks nice to this day! Arrived quickly after ordered and I placed an order for another roll right after I completed the freezer. I like to have it on hand as I've found many good uses for it. This was a good price as well.
