Perfect and easy to apply.
For fun I decided one day to color the soles of 3 pairs of my seldom used heels. This was perfect!!! I know the 3 pairs are not my designer ones but they look great now!! Fun!!! Be sure to also purchase the sealant.

Amazing Red leather sole paint!
This is an exactly what I was looking for to restore the sole of my expensive shoes. The vibrant red is an identical color match, offers high coverage and is very functional. It’s is very durable compared to the latex sole stickers. The smell is no bad and it dries. If you want to restore your leather shoe sole with with minimal effort, this is the Leather shoe paint for you.

Excellent option for restoring worn red soles!
I bought a pair of used Louboutins knowing I would have to do some repair myself. I have included images of the shoes as I received them - not a ton of wear, but clearly dirty/had been worn out. The photos are annotated to show the process in case you are facing a similar situation. The paint isn't an EXACT match for a variety of reasons, but it is pretty dang close and not at all noticeable if you don't have your nose to the shoe. Since I bought these used and already worn, I was mostly looking for "good enough" and I think this product way exceeded that expectation. I did opt to buy the gloss finish from the same company and I think it was worth the extra - see image with one glossed and one not glossed. With or without the gloss, the quality for the price is easily worth it. As one other reviewer mentioned, you will have MUCH better results if you sand down some of the rougher wear spots. If I were to do this again, I would start with a 150 grit and remove most/all of the original paint on the worn part and then work up to a 350 to get a smooth finish. At a minimum you should scuff up any surface you plan to paint so that the paint has something to stick to (think about painting your nails - the paint sticks better to a buffed surface). There seem to be conflicting experiences about how quick the paint dries, but for me it was within minutes, so I was able to do 3-4 coats of paint and the gloss finish all in one sitting. The actual application of the paint was easy, just pay attention at the edges. My plan for these is to cover them with a 3M vinyl film to protect the soles from further wear. As others have mentioned, this is just a fresh layer of paint - just like the original that scuffs off. If you plan to wear them outside/on rough surfaces, you should add another layer of protection and/or plan to repaint multiple times throughout the life of the shoe. Tips: - Clean the soles - remove any dirt or sticker residue - SAND THE SOLE - seriously, this will improve the dry time, the adherence, and the finished look - Use a fine paint brush like those used for crafts (I attached an image of mine) - especially if you're painting heels with a pointy tip, the smaller brush makes it easier to get full coverage without painting the shoe part - Buy the gloss finish (from the same company) - Consider using painters tape to protect the parts of the shoe you are not painting (especially if the shoes are suede - the wet paint will wipe pretty easily off patent leather if you catch it right away) Happy painting!

Perfect color match, not a smooth finish
My Louboutins have been well loved and I wanted to give them an easy touch up. First, this project is almost an exact match in color. I used one coat for the bottom of my shoe and waited for it to dry. It definitely needed a second coat, but not as thick. Mostly just touch ups in the parts that were inconsistent in color. The package recommends that the bottom of the shoe be lightly sanded down, but that process may have added a texture that doesn't allow for a smooth finish of the color. I posted a picture of my right shoe untouched and my left shoe painted with two coats. Hopefully it helps you to decide. Ultimately, this is a great product if you want to give your shoes a little touch up. But when it dries, don't expect a smooth shiny finish. I will be ordering the clear acrylic finisher from the same company. Hopefully that will restore the shine.

Simple, No-fail Directions!
Go to your nearest hardware store and ask for paint brushes used for STAIN, and PAINTERS TAPE. This paint is acrylic, but is runny, so a brush meant for stain is best. Line the base of your shoes with the tape (you will need to tear your tape a lot to get the shape of your shoes perfectly) this keeps it from getting on the shoe itself while painting. DO NOT be generous with this paint! Be patient, and scrape the side of your brush against the inside of the container to get excess paint off your brush to keep from uneccesary running. The bottom of the boots I used this product on had almost a felt like material, so it dried within an hour. For the more sleek bottoms, like heels, you will need to let dry for much longer. Lightly test it with a finger tip every hour to make sure it's completely dry before adding another coat or two if needed (remember to clean your brush with WARM water until water runs CLEAR, and let dry before use). I used three coats, and plan to seal it with plasti-dip for extra protection. I hope these directions are more informative than the ones previously given. This is a process that CAN TAKE MANY DAYS to complete, so don't get this product and expect your shoes to be ready the same day you applicate! If you are in a hurry, maybe put them facing a fan blowing air on a gentle cycle so it doesn't blow your shoes over and ruin your flooring or whatever you have them propped up against. This can be washed off with soap an water if mistakes are made on hard surfaces, NOT on fabrics or carpet. I am not an expert, but I do a lot of cosplay crafts. This product worked well for me, and I hope it works well for future buyers!

Pienamente soddisfatta.
