We made our own cones in after school club and the kids absolutely loved it. It was a bit of trial and arrow as to how much mixture to use and we found it was better to over fill it than not have enough mixture. You need to buy a cone as well to mould the mixture round. Beware it’s hotter than hell when you get them out so the kids couldn’t do that bit but the filling and eating afterwards they absolutely loved.

This is a lightweight waffle pan, weighs hardly anything at all.The design is very shallow, more shallow than I had expected, so it doesn't give much of an impression on your ice cream cones.I also use this for toasting flatbread, works well.There is a ridge around the outside, which I assume is to stop the plate sitting on direct heat, however this may pose issues for some gas jobs, it might sit a bit wonky.It heats up quickly and is easy to clean, my advice is to let it cool completely before cleaning as any sudden changes in temperature ( like warm or cold water on a hot pan) can buckle thin metal like this. I have crepe pans that are also really thin and I do the same with those too.The handles are plastic so keep away from open flames. There is a hook on one handle that slides over the other to keep them together, I find this useful for hanging the pan up also.

I bought this to make a mexican recipe, although at first it's difficult to use, it actually work for what I intended.Good product.
