This is the best iron I have found. My iron levels were low, so my doctor recommended starting iron supplements. I tried a few, and my stomach always hurt but not with this one. I take it on an empty stomach every night and have no issues. My levels are back to where they need to be and it happened quickly. I always recommend this product to anyone who needs iron. I love all Life Extension supplements. Very high quality!

This is my second time purchasing this. Iron pills are usually harsh on me and while they help with my iron deficiency they don’t help in other ways but this are a game changer for me, easy to take, not harsh on my belly or mess me up in any other way.

Easy to absorb

This product has contributed to raising my Mom's iron and protein levels. I recommend consulting with a medical professional before using it. In my mother's situation, she incorporated this alongside prescription medication to balance her levels following chemotherapy treatments. Once her levels were under control, she could discontinue its use.

Before you buy, make sure you need it. I needed it BADLY. Iron protein does not cause any interesting side effects -at least in my case, but my fingernails look SO much better.

I take Iron Protein Plus in addition to Life Extension two-a-day. As a person in remission, currently, from Mantle Cell Lymphoma, I had previously found that my vitamin uptake isn't what it should be, and I was physically exhausted quite often. These supplements have really made a life change for me; the two-a-days seem to actually get through to my system, and the iron plus has taken away my lethargy (I am guessing that even though I eat meat almost every day that my digestive system simply isn't able to process the food as well as I'd like). I have had no problems with the iron hurting my stomach, as it seems people say that is a big problem with iron supplements. I have had nothing but a good experience with Life Extension products, they are well worth the money, and to tell the truth, I never went cheap on vitamins previously. Centrum is pretty expensive compared to this, and other products of comparable value from GNC are much, much more. It is a relief to find something so well priced, that does an extremely good job. They've got me as a customer for life, now.
