La Boulangere Pains Au Chocolat, Chocolate Croissants, Individually Wrapped, 16-Count

These are a little too delicious, honestly. Hard to live with that much temptation living in the pantry!

These little buns that are filled in the center with chocolate suit my taste for bread and for chocolate. I couldn't find them for the longest time, because the person who turned me on to them didn't know where they got them. They aren't necessarily to everybody's taste but I like them.

These are very good and I enjoyed having one for breakfast each day as they are convenient while on the go! I've ordered them several times. Shame is that I went to reorder again today and they, like many other retailers when you buy something frequently, whacked the price up! So their greed and my lack of funds unfortunately means I won't be ordering these again but for people who can afford the increase they're very yummy and fresh.

It was really looking forward to receiving these as I have purchased this brand before in store and the quality is really good and I love that they're individually packaged because I can put them in my sons lunchbox or take them to go for a quick breakfast or a snack. However, these took a long time to get to me to the point where I received a package and have no idea what it would be as I had completely forgotten I had ordered it by that point and when I went to eat one it didn't taste the same, it was dry and just not as I had remembered it. My husband Took a bite of the one I was eating and agreed and he proceeded to look at the expiration date and found that these had expired over a month ago which explains the taste and was incredibly disappointing as these weren't exactly cheap. I wouldn't recommend buying from this seller.

Date of expiration a month and halfaway (Oct 19),to enjoyed a croissant a day . Soft consistency. Opened and put them in a tight container, hopefully they stay soft. Expensive but the size and quantity, it's worth the price.

I didn't care for them, the taste and texture is nothing like any croissants I've ever had.

Where to begin...... I am a self professed croissant lover and these are absolutely yummy. These croissants have a fluffy texture with a complementary amount of bread and chocolate that is in balance. You can warm these treats in the microwave or oven for a very short period of time to get a better taste and subsequent better enjoyment. These croissants are good for a small breakfast, if you are on the go or a treat during your day. These are lovely to share with family and friends. If you enjoy croissants and like chocolate, this sweet treat is something you should definitely try at least once.....if you become hooked-don't blame me :)
