This is a great product. Clearly a lot of thought went into its design. It is very stable. There is a learning curve with its use and provided instructions are minimal. It tends to pull out of alignment ever so slightly - the width of a pencil line on one end - when tightening but that can be controlled by proper handling. The handle needs to drop below the surface to tighten. At first I was working with 2x4’s on edge as a base and that seemed to work ok but when I moved to the workbench I found that it wants to drop even further. The end stop assembly takes some practice. It has two pieces that get rammed together to lock and those need to be separated before it can be slid around. They also need to be slid firmly up to the work piece and set prior to tightening.

This guide is pretty useful. I’ve used it in a pinch as a clamp for a table top. Doesn’t provide the most pressure, but does the job. The one downside is the guides that are sold for it. I bought one for my jigsaw and it was kinda flimsy

After testing different brands that I had and my friends have, I can tell with confident that this is very light weight but yet sturdy, nothing to complain about, made me want to explore other products by that brand.

This is a great probity if you want an easier way to cut sheet stock. No need to heft it onto the table saw. This straight edge is solid, snug, precise and light. Great buy

I love the accuracy and straightness. Great to use on breaking down plywood. I've also bought the extension to do full 8 foot. Unfortunately there is one thing they could change (even newer model has same issue). The clamp action handle goes down. So if you are on the floor with say a foam board under your plywood you can't clamp this down. If the handle went up it would work better or sideways. I realize they did this to give you the most room to go down the slide without interference with any number of guide attachments but only way to break down boards is have it on bench or set it on multiple boards to raise it up enough to swing handle all the way down. Clamp force isn't enough until it's all the way. New model clamp is 100% under the guide so not any better for floor use.

I like the product but this is for home use. Lots of plastic and a bit fragile.

This guide is worth it's weight in gold. This is coming from a person who couldn't cut a straight line without it. It's easy to set up and the price for this is a good buy.
