LONG term user - great performance
I've used this heater cartridge in my QIDI i-mates (modded) for a few years, and now for 2 years in a ratrig vcrore-400. I print in high temperature nylons (around 300c) and this 60watt heater has never missed a beat. I always wait to leave a review, to insure the product actually lasts. When you change (or build) the heater in your hotend you need to run a PID process to tune your control board to the response of the assembly. This is based on the metal, airflow, and heater capability. I give this product FIVE STARS...

It's hot, don't touch it
The product does get really hot and it heats faster than stock. Only downside is the wires are to short to reach the mainboard on my ender 3. But its a simple fix, just simply solder them to the red wires for the stock heater and it works perfectly. I've been constantly printing nylon at 290~300c with no issues.Pros-It's really hot-install was easy (soldering may be required)-Heats way faster than stock.-Fit's ender 3Cons- It burned my hand

Heats up fast!
My stock hotend got clogged and there was a massive glob of PLA stuck onto the heatblock covering the thermistor, nozzle, and heat cartridge so I had to replace all of them. I found this when looking for a new heat cartridge and couldn't be happier. This thing gets up to 210 Celsius in about 30 seconds compared to a minute/minute and a half for the stock 40W heater cartridge on my Ender 3 Pro. Just make sure to run a PID calibration before it's first use.My only complaint is that the wire attached is not quite long enough for me. An extra half meter and it would be perfect. I plan on splicing an extra length of equivalent gauge wire onto it to extend the cable length, but as is it works great. If you need a new heater cartridge, why not upgrade while you're at it?

Heats up quickly
The heater element, if 60W, will load your controller with roughly 2.5 Amps @ 24V. Most modern controller boards can easily handle this current / load. Didn't really measure the time it takes to heat to selected temperature on my older element and this one. But it seems to accelerate slightly the time to heat. It will get you a higher temperature on the nozzle, as supposed to a 40 W element. There are heater blocks made of copper instead of aluminum. They will cause a different heating response curve, so it is a good idea to run a PID calibration. In any case a PID tune is a good idea, with changes to your hot-end.

Works as expected!
Drop in replacement and heats up very quickly. Long enough cable for an ender 3. Would recommend.

High Temps very Quickly
This is a good quality heat cartridge, and the perfect upgrade for an ender3 v2 using an E3D V6. I'm getting great temperatures very quickly with no hassle or fuss. Haven't tested the limits just yet, but expecting to break the limits on the ender 3.

Too short for Ender 3 V2; temperature fluctuations
When I was able to splice the cable which was an entire half meter shorter than the original heater cartridge on the Ender 3 V2, the temperature fluctuations were so significant EVEN after replacing the thermistor that it was essentially unusable. Did heat up a lot faster though for sure, for whatever that matters.

Works amazingly well
This is a wonderful upgrade to any printer. It heats up and maintains temperature so much better than with the stock 20w cartridge.

Worked once
Heated up really fast and to a good temperature once. Now it won't get past 200C.
