Hot & Hotter Professional 1875 Salon Hood Dryer #5826, Black, Ionic Technology, Portable, 1875W

I had to replace my old one after 7 years due to the genie escaping. You can see the chard wires in the photo. I like how this one has a cool setting. The power cord is cooler to the touch and it is not as loud as the other one. Being a hooded dryer I expect a lot of noise, it's just the way it is. My old one has a telescoping neck, this one does not. I still have to reposition myself every now and then to get to certain parts of my head. It does what I need it to do.

I only have this dryer for five months, and it stopped working. It doesn’t put out any heat at all. I only used it a few times. It was good while it lasted. Very disappointed. I can’t order another one because they say that either out of stock or out of business.

Doesn’t really blow that hard at highest so i feel i spend longer than i want to under it. Plus once you have it set up.. can’t tell how to fold it up

Just got this today and tested it o it! It will be really clean and convenient for me to use in the salon under new regulations, but air flow is pretty minimal. If you need it for heat, it will do the job enough to process colors and foils. Air flow on the other hand is not powerful enough to dry anything unless it is already mostly dry. The small print says not to use more that 40 min on the lowest setting and no more that 20 min on the highest. Also note that it says not to use it more that 4x a day! Not really ideal for professional use with these restrictions so I am guessing it is a bit fragile. I will only use it on a few clients I guess? Just tried it on a client today and it shut off after 15 min from overheating????

Not the best product, but only need for periodical perms for "Mother-In-Law+, so fills the bill.
