I have had bald spots on my head from bleaching my hair too often. Biotin helps fill in the bald spots and makes my hair stronger. I usually open the pill and apply it to my hair. I only use the ones that say Biotin and not the additive products that have biotin and other products added. I know the Biotin that doesn't have other added products works for me. I only use Nature Bounty Biotin. If you use the product, you need to take it every day to see the results. I also take it by mouth.

in general biotin is a great supplement, for nails hair and skin, it does take time for a vitamin to be effective, will not work in next day or next week, but also depends on your body, I prefer to the 12.000 mcg but this one is particular have a faster release, this gives my hair a bit more alive looking side, you have to be consistent if you are taking it, I stopped taking it for a few months and my hair thinned a bit
