Torque it up!
I bought this for a predator 212 stage 4. This converter was an amazing decision! After a very easy installation, this converter performed perfectly transferring all of this power straight to the rear tire. BEST purchase I’ve invested in this Stage 4 predator mini bike!

Does not fir predator 301
Does not fit predator 301 engine, the 1 inch shaft fits but the thread pitch in the center does not. It still uses the 212 predator style thread pitch

Worth it.
coleman ct200u ex. Gives the bike new life! Much faster, and more torque at the low end than the stock clutch drive. You'll need a spacer for the bottom to fit the rear of the torque converter, and a shim for the engine shaft if you're using the HiSun stock motor. You'll also need another small length of chain. (I used a segment from the internal part of the jack shaft in the clutch drive.) Make sure you tighten EVERY bolt before a rest drive. Some of them don't come very tight from factory.

Wrong hardware provided
Product comes with wrong hardware to fit a predator 212. For reference, it came with four 5/16 x 18 - 1" bolts to hold the backing plate to the engine and one 5/16 x 18 - 1 1/2" bolt for the engine shaft. All of the bolts SHOULD have been 5/16 x 24 fine thread. The four bolts that hold the backing plate on were at least the right length of 1", but even following included directions there is no way the provided engine shaft bolt will work. The engine shaft bolt provided was 1 1/2" but it doesn't even reach the shaft, my guess is it will need to be double that length, probably a 5/16 x 24 - 3" bolt. I ordered this torque converter specifically because of the price and free same day shipping because I needed it asap, but without the correct hardware the product is useless.

Good product
Did really well, came with instructions and better than last one I bought 4 years ago . Definitely increased speed. I did have to upgrade the driver to a super 30 and install a comet green spring in the driven after upgrading engine beyond the hp rating for this cvt, but for a stock 196 to 212 this is what you want .
