If you need one, Get it!!! Super Easy!
This Worked Perfect. Some reviews said 10 minutes to install, but it really took less than 3 min. I popped off the Old connector, plugged in the new one. That took 45 seconds. Screwing the Support bracket on the Bumper (mine had existing holes... I lucked out) took 2 minutes. Then I tested it. DONE!Has a Solid Construction. Locks the Trailer Connector into place, and has the additional 4 pin flat connector for LED Slider Caps. Time will tell of the end result Quality but at this Price, WHO CARES!!!It does exactly what it's supposed to do!!!!Make sure you have the vehicle Specs entered into your "Garage", and you're good to Go!

Easy trailer connector relocation project
I used this to relocate the trailer hookups on my Silverado from the hitch area to the rear bumper/license plate area. Makes things so much easier and is way more stable. Installation was very easy and the entire project took about 15 minutes. I loved that I didn't have to do any wiring, just unplug the factory harness from the old connector and plug into new connector.

Product is subpar and didn't work properly out if the box. Connections were no properly potted to keep them from moving and no making a proper connection. Get the Reese connecter, it actually made properly.

Just what I needed for a part that was difficult to find.

Upon initial inspection, Hopkins is heads and shoulders above Pollak.
Installed a similar product by Pollak a couple of years ago. After eleven months the spring for the door broke (this vehicle never sees road salt.) Called Pollak to request a replacement spring and they explained they didn't sell just the spring. When I explained the connector was only eleven months old they replied "oh! that one is made in Taiwan!" No offer of any kind to make me a satisfied customer.Recently acquired another truck and went shopping for anything but a Pollak. Haven't installed the Hopkins yet, but upon an initial inspection it is heads and shoulders above the Pollak. Well worth the extra few dollars.More notes after I install the Hopkins . . .
