I love this leave in conditioner! I was so happy to find it again after Suave redid the package design.

When I got this product - which I love, but which my local drug store had quit carrying - I was a little wary, because the jar did not look the same. Oh, the new design is beautiful, but my worry is always "what *else* did they change?" So even though the jar said "Same great formula," I took my old jar, set it up beside the new one, and compared the ingredients. Aha - a couple of ingredients have been added, way down near the bottom of the list (proline and alanine), and several other ingredients have switched places with the ones directly in front of them (glycerin, fragrance, lactic acid, and some weird-sounding thing called "PEG-7 propylheptyl ether"). But the important ingredients - the coconut oil and shea butter - are still in the same places on the label, so I figured it was all right. And when I used it, it felt, smelled, and worked just as wonderfully as the stuff in my old jar did. So fear not, curly, kinky, and coily-haired ladies: This edition of Suave Professionals Leave-In Conditioner may *look* new, but the changes are mainly...cosmetic. And as a bonus, the new jar carries a notation that the product is cruelty-free!

Smells great. Leaves a white film if you use too much.

The is a great product for any type of curly hair. It is targeted towards “natural hair” and shows women “of color” on the label. As a white woman with curls, I have been looking for a product that adds definition, shine, as well as being very conditioning. This is it! The only drawback that I have encounter is the container. First, it is not sealed, and there have been leak issues during shipping. Mine was sent in a box that was too large, with a little bit of paper padding. Since the product is on the thin side, in an unsealed jar, I recommend putting it in a plastic bag for shipping. And I would recommend to Suave that they put a protective seal on the jar. If you can find this in a regular store, you will generally pay less than what Amazon charges. I found a source that charges half the price!

Love , love, love this product!!! I started using this product about a year ago and I instantly fell in love with it. My hair is capable of having beautiful, bouncy curls but, instead, it was so flat and dry. A customer that I spoke with while at a popular retailer, had soft full bouncy curls and she recommended this leave-in conditioner. She would wash her hair and softly towel dry her hair until it was a little damp and then she would apply a small amount working it through the hair until all of her hair was soft and silky feeling. She would then wrap an old T-shirt around her hair leaving the wrap in place until hair was almost dry. She said that after she removed the T-shirt, her hair was bouncy and curly and thick. I tried exactly what she said and she is correct. I have the most beautiful curls that I have ever had in my life and my hair feels so soft and thick. It’s a shame you can’t buy this in the stores anymore. It can only be ordered online but thanks to Amazon. I can still keep using the product that I fell in love with. I highly recommend this product if you like soft , thick, beautiful hair.

This is the only product that works for my curly hair!! It isn’t too heavy but it still gives the curls a little extra boost. Worth the price!

I bought this at a big store chain and they’ve stopped carrying it. Product is great but 2 of them had busted lids.

The box and the container came broken so I had to put them in my own container.
